I would like to heartily recommend this lovely shop and the two lovely ladies who run it!! From the moment we first rang on the off chance to randomly drop in and try bridesmaid frocks, to the vast amount of patience they had with a very poorly Emily yesterday, the level of customer service has been second to none and has outweighed all other bridal boutiques I have visited, including the ones I have purchased from!! Kitty and Anne have got to be the most helpful and kind people I’ve met whilst wedding dress shopping. They made me feel so at ease with the whole process. I was so worried about finding the dress. Kitty has magic powers and can make you look good in everything! Anne is always there to add to the mix a few that I would have never had thought of. They both knew what I wanted and it was such a Lovley and heartfelt appointment I haven’t stopped smiling since! Can’t wait to go back to try my dress on again!!!

I got married with 4 weeks to plan. The lovely ladies helped me pick the perfect dress and did some alterations on not only my dress but my mums outfit too. We had the warmest welcome and the experience was one of loveliest I’ve had, these 2 ladies looked after me right up to my wedding, with support and encouragement. Would highly recommend this store and the ladies in it. Thank you for all your help, you were amazing xx

I travelled quite a way just to get a tea length dress and I was not disappointed- I loved every minute of wearing my Billie dress Brighton belle true bride. A superb little shop that oozes friendliness; run by two lovely ladies who will be completely honest with you as to what does/doesn't look right. They have some absolute gems on the hangers, and all great value! I came away today with the perfect dress, and well under budget! Update: where Debenhams, Coast and Harvey Nicks failed, the ladies at the Yorkshire Bridal Shop came through! We picked up a beautiful dress for my maid of honour. Our most grateful thanks to Ann and Kitty for pulling out the stops and knowing their products so well!

'Its best to enter our address in google maps, you will find us on the main road just past Country Baskets! Our car park is around back accessible by turning down Bramley Close or turning in at The Carpet Mill. There are some steps into our shop, for easiest disabled accesses we recommend parking on the street as there is then only 2 wide steps to get in!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We like to get to know you on your arrival so you will be welcomed with a cup of tea or coffee, water or juice and of course a choice of biscuits, a short information gathering whilst you enjoy your cuppa and then it's through to our private gown or bridesmaid room where you and your team can pick out some of our stunning gowns and get trying! We will be more than happy to help you find your bride style, with expert advise on style and fit as you try as many as you like! You are welcome to take pictures whilst you try and we give you at least an hour and a half in the gown room. When you find your dream gown/dress we can celebrate with a glass of bubbly and you can either pay 50% on order and the balance when the gown arrives (usually 16-20 weeks) Or we can set you up on a pay plan that works for you. All brides buying a gown from us get 'Bride Discount' of 10% off all accessories and Bridesmaid gowns too! When you gorgeous gown arrives our seamstress will begin your fitting to make sure you look your best in your perfect fitting gown!

What is your favourite style of wedding dress?

Too hard to choose! I love them all but a sassy tea length or stunning fit and flair are in my top choices!

What is the best way to incorporate "Something Blue" into the wedding outfit?

We love a cheeky blue garter.

What is your favourite wedding dress of all time?

Oo tough one! This week (lol) my faves are the Hilary Morgan 40724 and the Victoria Kay Signature 1622!
