The Wild Heart Bridal Full Description
We are Nicole and Alex, sisters from Kent, with a career background and true love for fashion, style and culture. In 2015 we decided it was time to pursue our dream and open a bridal boutique with a difference. Before the boutique, Nicole was working as a Commercial Analyst for a luxury fashion brand but left to work with the brides of Kent. Nicole is also a yoga teacher and elements of this "free spirited Yogi" can be felt through out the boutique. Alex is a personal stylist & fashion blogger who has had bridal fashion articles published in local style magazines and trips to Paris with an International Accessories Brand as part of her styling career.
We both struggled to find fashion-forward, modern wedding dresses when we got married and so decided to open a bridal boutique of our very own to help fashion loving brides, like ourselves, find what they are looking for.
We have carefully handpicked our dress and accessories collections from some of the most exciting and stylish designers in the UK, Australia and USA, ready for you to try in our modern boutique on Rochester High Street. These include Hayley Paige, Karen Willis Holmes, Katya Katya Shehurina, Charlotte Balbier, Modeca and Florence Shoes. We also carry a large range of veils, bridesmaid dresses and gifts to make your bridal shopping experience straight forward and enjoyable.

What is your most memorable wedding?
All of our bride's weddings are beautiful so we will have to say our own weddings! Alex chose a relaxed Kent country venue and Nicole and Chateau in Bordeaux.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
That's tricky! Sometimes classic, chic, tailored, effortless and feminine other times fashion-forward with a little bit of boho and modern thrown into the mix!
What about your business are you most proud of?
The relationship we have with our brides, we love sharing their journey with them, it's alway s little sad when they leave with their dress but then we love seeing their photos from the big day!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Be true to yourselves and decide what is most important to you about your big day. Don't be swayed by too many strong opinions, it's your day!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A botanical themed flower wall, loads of leafy banana leaves which was a great contrast against the bride's dress.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We speak to our brides to be when they book an appointment and find out the kind of styles they are looking for, when they come in on the day they are encouraged to choose some dresses to try and we will add some styles we think will suit if they'd like us to. No pushy sales chat, just a really relaxed vibe for the whole process.
What do you love most about your job?
Choosing new dresses for the shop that we love and we think our brides will love too. Finding new designers on social media who are doing something different in the industry and of course seeing brides to be light up when they find 'The One' with us.
What is your favourite style of wedding dress?
At the moment we are loving sleek, minimalist styles which fit really well and look super cool.
What is the best way to incorporate "Something Blue" into the wedding outfit?
Shoes! We have just added a blue pair of Florence shoes to our collection. Lots of our brides have coloured or edgy shoes that look great with a high-low hem dress or just to be flashed in photos.
What is your favourite wedding dress of all time?
We both loved Whitney Port's Ashi Studio dress which was super cool and edgy with the high/low hemline. Our favourite in the shop constantly changes but we always have loved the 'Mabel' Two Piece by Karen Willis Holmes, so versatile.
