Helen & Hannah offer styling advice, upbeat, positive and honest service on a no pressure basis with a combined 30 years experience in the bridal, events, fashion and international model/performance experience.
Both believe you should leave with a smile from a great appointment regardless of the outcome and truly believe their motto “A Smile Guaranteed”, which over the last 4 years of being open has been the case.
We are proud to be an Italian bridal shop being the only U.K. suppliers of the incredible Lanesta & Armonia and extremely proud to be 1 or 2 U.K. suppliers of Daniela Di Marino and Monica Loretti and privileged to supply Eddy K and Angela Bianca.
The Wedding Dress Barn is sat in the top floor of the granary barn on Yew Tree Farm. You won’t walk into another bridal shop and gasp.
With 3 stunning rooms, one being their very own bohemian themed room, you’ll not be disappointed with The Wedding Dress Barn.

What is your most memorable wedding?
We adore being updated with our brides weddings and every single one is a positive, exciting experience however the one which really stands out at the moment is one of our brides came in not wanting anything like she chose. She actually laughed at the dress she chose online before she came and ended up trying her on and falling in love.
Our bride Robyn had to change her plans with her fiancé and ended up getting married last minute under the northern lights and wowwwww the photos are incredible!

What about your business are you most proud of?
We have had a 100% success rate of our motto “A Smile Guaranteed”. We are most proud of how we can ensure our brides feel the most comfortable as possible and have a memorable experience. We are proud we are not the same as other bridal shops!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Choose what makes you both happy and don’t care what other people think.
This one along with the bride is the bride and the theme is the location, husband and bridesmaids. Don’t worry about matching your dress to the location or the theme. You are not the theme you’re the bride!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One wedding had hand made anvils which doubled up as name holders and favours. The groom is a farrier and the bride was also horsey, so they got their love in without the normal horse shoe.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Our normal process is the bride will come in with 3 guests, the perfect number for our little barn without being too many opinions.
When the bride says yes she will be measured up and 50% of the dress is paid to order.
When the dress arrives at around 6 months time, we contact our bride to be and arrange another appointment.
Our bride will come back in, with optional 3 guests and any accessories she may have ready and try on her gown again.
At the end of her appointment our Bride to be will complete the dress sale by paying the remaining 50% and the dress is hers to take away.

What do you love most about your job?
We love making people smile!
What is your favourite style of wedding dress?
We both have our favourites. Hannah loves Ilda which is an A line and Helen loves Boho dresses.
What is the best way to incorporate "Something Blue" into the wedding outfit?
We think it’s dress dependent.
Some dresses may not work to have something blue such as a garter however you can incorporate it by a piece of jewellery, a hair piece or even on your shoes. It could be as simple as having a diamonte in blue on your shoe.
What is your favourite wedding dress of all time?
ILDA by Daniela Di Marino - Hannah adores this dress.
