Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Inspired by nature
What about your business are you most proud of?
Setting up my studio and then holding my first bridal consultation there. It holds such a special memory. My studio is my happy place.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Stay focused and be organised! With so much wedding inspiration out there, it’s so easy to become completely overwhelmed. Once you’ve chosen your perfect venue, book your photographer, as they can get booked up a couple of years in advance!
Make a list of the things that are most important to you and decide whether you will need to book professional suppliers e.g cake, flowers, band, hair stylist, make up artist (of course hair accessories should be on there!!) and work through your list. Once you have booked your main ‘must haves’ you can start looking to add any little extras.
Remember it’s YOUR day, it’s all about celebrating the love you have for each other so have the kind of wedding you both want!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love the whole pets at weddings. One of my recent brides had her dog with all day and she wore a matching skirt for the ceremony, so cute!
What do you love most about your job?
Using my creativity to bring the overall bridal look together. Playing a small part in a brides special day is real honour.
What is the best way to incorporate "Something Blue" into the wedding outfit?
In your hair accessory you could add a small blue bead or crystal into the design. It could be discreetly placed or feature as an integral part of the design.
What is your favourite wedding dress of all time?
Well I’d have to say mine! I designed it and chose the fabric and after 20 years, I still love it 💜
