What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make sure everything is completely done at least a week before the wedding so you can really relax in the days leading up to the biggest day of your life!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Instead of place cards, one couple had a photo of them with each different guest at each place setting so they knew where to sit. This also doubled up nicely as a favour to take home.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
The typical process is quite simple! You will be emailed a quote, and if you decide to go ahead we take a 40% deposit and note down all of your wedding details. We will then be in touch again around 8 weeks before your wedding so we can book in a meeting (virtual or in person) to talk through the details of your wedding morning. At this point I will also ask for a photo of your dress (if you have one, no worries if not!) this will help me determine what I need to bring with me, we can discuss body tape etc.
On your wedding morning I will arrive with my steamer to prepare any dresses you have booked in. Then we will get you into your dress, shoes and accessories on and make sure you are aisle ready! If you have booked our shadowing service, we will prep your train as you get to the end of the aisle, wait for the magic to happen and meet you for your photos! I will then quite literally be your shadow, I will fluff your train, fix your veil and make sure you look perfect for every shot!
What do you love most about your job?
Being in the room when you finally get to put on the dress of your dreams with your hair and makeup all done. Seeing it all come together and feeling all the emotions is really something else.
What is your favourite style of wedding dress?
Having worked in a Bridal boutique for the last few years, I would say I am slightly obsessed with every dress I come across. But I am definitely a princess girl at heart, and I can't say no to a little bit of sparkle!
What is the best way to incorporate "Something Blue" into the wedding outfit?
Personally, I love a hint of blue on the shoes! Normally they are quite hidden anyway so you can go as crazy as you want!
