Dress Alterations 4 U

I am absolutely appalled by Nona's professionalism and the way my dress turned out. I first met with Nona Latova/Walker on the 11th June at her home. Typically, the first fitting appointment should last up to one hour, my consultation lasted just 15 minutes. I felt as if Nona was in a rush throughout the whole appointment. Nona was more interested in selling me the veils she claimed to have designed. Nona told me the price of my appointment was £376 and was due to be transferred to her account there & then. Nona said this included absolutely everything. My second appointment with Nona was on the 26th July. Nona questioned me to see if I had already paid in which i said i had and offered to show her the receipt which she asked to see. I bought my accessories along with me, my earrings, necklace & veil. Nona then said this was an extra £30 for me to try on my accessories in which I replied you said everything was included in my first appointment. Nona said no this is a separate appointment. I told Nona I wasn't happy with the Balero and i wanted it to be more fitted, she said she cannot do much as this is how the designer has made it. My appointment lasted 25 minutes. Nona charged me the below for this appointment: Steaming of my dress £50 Accessories App - £30 Veil alteration - £85 On the 12th August, I went to collect my dress from Nona. I tried on the dress and Nona showed me, along with her colleague, how the bustling worked, whilst I still had the dress on. I took the dress off and she then zipped up my dress without giving me the option to check over the whole dress before taking it away. Nona asked her colleague to sow on 2 extra buttons on my Balero. I left the appointment shocked, confused & had doubts about my dress. As a bride I should not have felt that way. On the 17th August, the evening before my wedding day, whilst I was steaming my dress again, I noticed the stitching had been sown through the back of my dress. I have attached pictures. I was left in tears and I straight away text Nona to which she replied 'we cannot comment, however we are her to help. If you bring your dress to me now, we can sort for you'. I would not reccomend Nona.

Nona was lovely, and clearly very competent. She altered my wedding dress quickly and efficiently, and made sure that it was perfect before she charged me anything.
