Simply an amazing person and team that made sure to make me feel like a queen from the moment I stepped into the shop to date!! There was no insecurities throughout our appointment because Kate and her team just make sure that all of your feelings are valid and help you enhance your beauty !!!

After being initially apprehensive and reluctant to go wedding dress shopping I relented to my mum's recommendation and booked an appointment at Kates. I had very vague ideas of what I liked, and examples of dresses which were vastly differing to one another. Kate listened to my many ideas and had patience and knowledge for which dresses I might like. I felt comfortable enough to tell her when dresses weren't quite right and she knew straight away when it was right. Kate seemed to know I was saying yes to the dress before I realised. I left without purchasing on that first day and didn't feel any pressure to commit to a dress and Kate was just as brilliant months later when I went back to buy it. I couldn't recommend her enough, it felt like shopping with a friend.

Absolutely brilliant shop can't thank them enough. They made me feel beautiful and found the PERFECT dress for me The ladies are hilarious and so welcoming. It was an absolute pleasure to buy my dress from them.

If you're a curvy girl, I can highly recommend Kate's Bridal Room and Kate and her team. I am not a 'girly' girl and as a mature, first time, plus size bride was quite nervous about selecting my dress. Kate and the team put me completely at my ease, understood the brief and helped me 'say yes to the dress'. First class service, attention to detail and made me feel like a million dollars. I came to Kate’s alongside my sister and mum. I was anxious being a plus size bride. I was quite open to dresses but sort of knew what I wanted. Kate and Maxine selected a range of dresses. I loved them all. As I was open to different styles, they chose one that was totally different to what I imagined I would wear. At first when I saw it I was not keen, as soon as I put it on I knew it was the one. Without their help I would never have got my dream dress. I was made to feel so comfortable, it was simply the best experience choosing my dream dress. I can not recommend Kate’s enough.

I went dress shopping with an absolute fear of the whole experience but after 5 minutes with Kate and Maxine every worry I had melted away! Even prior to the experience I got a lovely email trying to calm my worries, I even walked away with my dream dress! Thank you so much ❤️ I loved every second!

As a plus size woman, the thought of going and trying on wedding dresses in front of a bunch of strangers honestly filled me with dread. I went to my first appointment with Kate’s feeling nervous but was immediately put at ease. Kate and the team made me feel so comfortable, confident and beautiful, which was the first time I’d done so in a very long time! I went back to Kate’s two more times after that first visit and came away with my dream dress. Turns out my ‘dream dress’ was nothing like I thought it was going to be, I thought I wanted to cover my arms as I’m so self conscious about them, but Kate brought me my dress and I instantly knew it was the one. I cried when I looked in the mirror because I never thought I’d be able to wear something with my arms on show and feel so good about myself! It might sound dramatic, but I mean it when I say that Kate and the team honestly changed my life for the better. It had been a long time since I felt as beautiful as they made me feel and it’s given me a new sense of confidence that I can’t wait to take into my wedding day! I had already bought my dress online as I felt self conscious going to try on dresses, being plus size. I had heard about Curves@Kates bridal and attended their wonderful fashion show. I booked an appointment the next day, the staff were amazingly helpful and felt wonderful trying on dresses. As I didn't have a vision of what I wanted with having a destination wedding, I tried on a range of different dresses. The store was closed just for us, it was unique and just the best experience. I cannot recommend this bridal store enough!

Absolutely THE place to go for the curvy girl! Kate and her team are so professional, their enthusiasm for their work is refreshing and what they don’t know about the larger bridal body isn’t worth knowing.
