Chameleon Bride

I was lucky enough to have heard of Chameleon bride through social media, and after having attended 2 bridal appointments (which left me feeling a bit deflated) I booked in with Chameleon. From the very start of the experience, recieving a phone call to get an idea of the sort of dress I wanted and to get to know me a bit really got me excited for my appointment and made me feel prepared. On the day of the appointment I was lucky enough to have Saturn as my consultant who was incredible. She listened to me and my likes and dislikes, she was enthusiastic and energetic but also not pushy. The whole team made the experience so luxurious by personalising sunglasses and a sign for my try on area, and the whole boutique exudes luxury and quality. I had no intention on saying yes that day as I am so fussy, but I found a dress that made me feel like a princess, it is just exquisite,all thanks to Saturn,who also found me the matching veil. I knew this dress was the one for me, but the experience didn’t end there. I got my dress altered with chameleon bride and the seamstress was so experiences and made sure my dress looked absolutely perfect for my big day. I cannot thank the chameleon team enough for their excellent customer service, attention to detail, caring staff and the dress of my dreams!

I always knew I wanted to get my dress from here even years before I got engaged so it was like a dream come true! ❤️❤️All the staff at Chameleon bride are fantastic very friendly and professional! I want to give a special shout out to Cara the seamstress you can tell how much she cared about getting every detail right so I feel comfortable in my dress all day! Absolutely amazing girl and really made the experience wonderful!! ☺️

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Chameleon! From the moment I walked through the door, the experience was nothing short of magical. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, making me feel so special throughout the entire process. I found the one after trying on just a few options, thanks to their expert guidance and patience. The alterations process was seamless as well, with their team ensuring that my dress fit like a dream.

I had my dream dress saved in my phone for months, I then came to Chameleon Bride after realising they stock this dress (not the dress in the photos) tried her on and it was a dream. The girls at Chameleon Bride were amazing, inserted any questions i had, communication was amazing. I tried my dress on with Kaleigh and she was so friendly and helpful. I bought my dress here in May 2025. The initial appointment was great, but everything after that was a mess. I was told the dress would take around 7 months to arrive. It came in 2, and I was told I had to pick it up ASAP or pay a storage fee. I live 2 hours away, so I had to drop everything to come down to Bournemouth. When we got there, we stopped at their Mother of the Bride shop for my MIL, where the assistant was rude, patronising, and made us feel totally unwelcome. I was then sent back and forth between Chameleon and the other shop just trying to locate my dress because neither knew where it was. It completely ruined what should have been an exciting day. When I finally got to collect it, they refused to let me try it on to make sure everything was okay, despite there being an open changing room and me not needing any help. It felt like as soon as they had my money, they couldn't care less. On the actual wedding day, the dress looked lovely, but less than 10 minutes into cocktail hour the hook and eyelet snapped. For the price I paid for the dress, I wanted to feel like a million pounds but instead was feeling like I was in a cheap dress with a inequivalent price tag. I wrote into Chameleon to raise these issues and was instead given a list of excuses and defences but no bride should have her dress break on their Wedding day! Given the price point and the importance of the event, the customer service, logistics, and dress quality fell far below acceptable standards. I would not recommend this shop.

I was lucky enough to win (yes win!) my wedding dress from Chameleon Bridal, a store I’d already had my eye on. When the day came for my appointment Saturn turned a somewhat daunting day into an incredible experience. She helped guide me to the perfect dress, something I’d discounted from looking on line but it’s perfect. The store has a wonderful atmosphere, designed to make you feel comfortable and relaxed, and they were fantastic about accommodating a significant food allergy within my group. Through the entire process of ordering, storing, fittings, and collection, the team at Chameleon were incredible. This dress means so many things to so many people, and they truly give you the best bridal experience. On the day I felt like a princess and everyone loved my dress. For the girl who was adamant she was wearing a short tea length dress, ending up with a train longer than I am tall just goes to show that you should always have an open mind! Thank you Chameleon

I came here with only 3 months between my engagement and wedding day, and only 10 weeks before the day to find my dress! I knew I'd be restricted slightly to an "off the rail" dress, but knowing how wonderful the girls in here are I had complete confidence! I went in with a fairly clear vision; a red carpet, black tie event gown that still said "wedding dress", and wasn't sure how close we could get to it, but they found me the most perfect dress ever....definitely "the one!" Sophie (I'm sure that was your name, I'm soooo sorry if it wasn't!) was absolutely fab, so knowledgeable about what would fit my figure, and made me feel super special. Caroline (again, sorry if I got your name wrong!) did my alterations on site, and helped to make me look and feel amazing....the bustle for the evening was fab :-) I couldn't recommend Chameleon more to anyone who is shopping for their dress; they are by far the most welcoming, fun, and knowledgeable group of girls who make everyone in the party feel special (even my mum over FaceTime from Scotland!)
