Our luxurious boutique is family owned and run, Moira and Kendal co-found Along Came Eve in 2017 after many many years of planning.
Moira is a technical wizard when it comes to fashion, working for elite fashion brands for many years, leading their technical teams and fitting 1000's of garments for large-scale production following a successful career as a Couture Bridal Wear Designer with her very own made to order collections. Kendal, her daughter, grew up in Bridal, it's in her blood! Her drive for excellence and creative flair left her feeling unfulfilled in the corporate world.
Together, they built Along Came Eve. A safe, comfortable and luxe environment for you to find you as a bride in a non-pressured space. Our team of experts are here to guide you along the way and can even offer our skills to dream up some bespoke changes making your bridal look truly unique! We house the most beautiful gowns from sought after global designers, if you are looking for something special and out of the ordinary, Along Came Eve is the must visit Boutique for you!

What is your most memorable wedding?
We couldn't possibly choose, all of our Brides are so unique, we adore them all!!

Aspirational, achievable, unique, modern & romantic.
What about your business are you most proud of?
We built our beautiful business form the ground up, originally with just the two of us and around 30 dresses, to see how our boutique has developed in just 5 short years, two of which were almost destroyed by covid!, is something to be very proud of!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Know what you both want and fulfil your needs first, it your day to celebrate your love.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
We love the addition of a lost loved one's clothing to the inside of our dresses, the perfect way to carry them with you on the most important day of your life.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We welcome our beautiful bride with a pre- appointment phone call with your Stylist, they will then welcome you and your guests to the Boutique where we guide you through our showroom and help you pick out some gowns. We then take you to your very own private fitting suite where we settle you all in with refreshments and start trying on! When you find the one, we get your beautiful welcome bag and add a little welcome photograph taken in our selfie area.
What do you love most about your job?
That we get to make women feel incredible about themselves, just as they are.
What is your favourite style of wedding dress?
We love a unique detail!
What is the best way to incorporate "Something Blue" into the wedding outfit?
There are so many ways to do this, add a little bow inside the dress or a hair pin with a blue detail is a lovely way to make an addition.
What is your favourite wedding dress of all time?
We adore all of our dresses of course! But I really do ahve a soft spot for anything Valentino & Vivienne Westwood when it comes to their couture collections.
