What’s the lead time on your orders?
As everything is handmade to your bespoke specifications, we ask a lead time of 12-14 weeks from order confirmation.
What is block printing?
Block printing is one of India's oldest and most celebrated textile traditions, with roots stretching back over 500 years in Rajasthan. Each block is hand carved out of wood in a distinct pattern. Each block is dipped into dye and pressed onto the fabric by hand, section by section, colour by colour, until the pattern comes to life. What no machine can replicate are the subtle irregularities, the slight shifts in colour, the faint impression of the block's edge. These are not imperfections, they are the mark of a human hand, and what gives each piece its own individual character.
What designs do you do?
We specialise in block print designs. We have a wide range available. We can send you some sample images, but if you do have something else in mind then don’t hesitate to get in touch as we have many more designs available or can work with you to create something unique.
Do you have minimum orders?
For some of the more standard sizes and patterns we do have minimum orders that tend to start from 50 napkins and 5 tablecloths. If you make a fully bespoke order with us then our minimum order will be dependent on the design, size and colour that you choose.
