Spitting Pig South Essex

Many thanks indeed to the team from Spitting Pig for providing such a highlight for our wedding party. Adam and his wife turned up spot on time and worked tirelessly and cheerfully on a very hot day to provide a wonderful hog roast. Our 70 guests went back for seconds and sometimes thirds and remarked on the quality of the food and, in particular, the moistness of the pork even as we are finishing the leftovers a couple of days later! We will certainly recommend you to anyone!

Adam and the team were absolutely incredible providing the catering for our wedding on Saturday at Captains Wood Barn. The communication prior to the event was outstanding, responsive, flexible and made planning the day so easy. The food was incredible and the range of vegan food for our guests went down a storm. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more, thank you so much for all you did to make our day stress free and everyone saying how amazing the food was. Highly recommended by us!

Firstly the fact that I had nothing to do, and Adam and (the girl) just got on with it was brilliant. I don’t eat meat but several people have said how lovely the hog roast was and complimented them. I literally saw Adam at the end of the evening when he came to tell me they were leaving and the leftover meat was boxed up. So- very easy for me! Lots of compliments about the food for you! Please pass on my thanks because it was seamless which was exactly what I wanted. I would certainly recommend you to others. Thank you once again!

We just wanted to say thank you again for our incredible wedding meal. We had so many compliments on the food and some guests were even going back to ask for seconds! We had a few vegan and vegetarian guests who said that their food was delicious too. The laid out cutlery and crockery looked beautiful on the tables and I loved that our wedding cake was served as dessert so nothing goes to waste. Communication was good, and I was confident that things would go smoothly with the food, so it was one less thing for us to worry about.
