Circa Events prides itself on offering our clients a flexible approach to their Wedding Breakfast, whether that be a Four-Course Dining Experience with delicate canapes, or a 'Family Share' BBQ served on boards with colourful salads in bowls. Our menu will give you a few suggestions on menu for the day, starting with our delightful canapes, your main wedding menu, indulgent desserts followed by our quirky options for evening food. Maybe you are considering something a little different, featuring sharing boards for guests to tuck into on each table, or you want a fine dining experience with Michelin inspired dishes; our Head Chef will work with you both to create something wonderful that you and your guests will be talking about for many years to come. All our ingredients are sourced from the very best Sussex Butchers, Cheese makers and Farmers - in fact our Kitchen is on a farm just outside Brighton! We're known for being a little quirky and creative in our menus, from Asian influences on our Scotch Egg dish, to our original Wood-fired Pizza Van, we'll offer a range of options to best suit your tastes and ideas for your event. Liv, Sara and the team at Circa were just brilliant!! We had them cater for our wedding at the beautiful Long Furlong Barn and nothing was too much trouble. We didn’t do things in the traditional order but it didn’t bother them and everything on the day went just perfectly. The food was absolutely delicious, every part, and we had so many compliments from the guests and suppliers about it. Circa Events recently catered for our wedding and we couldn't recommend them more! On the lead-up to our wedding, Sara and Liv were so helpful and when I had a little wobble close to the date, Sara really helped put my mind at ease which I really appreciated. Nothing was too much and they made it a joy to communicate with. At our venue open days, we were able to try canapés that really sold us and the food we picked on the day did not disappoint. We had some great feedback from guests on the day who were so surprised by the amazing quality of food. Everyone loved that the staff kept them well topped up during the wedding breakfast too, and Claire couldn't have been better on the day. Thank you! <3

A five star experience
We have just returned home after attending a wedding at which Circa Events did the catering. We were impressed not only by the quality of the food but also by the fact that the food arrived promptly and was hot - a real bonus. The company also managed to cater for the special dietary requirements of several of the guests.

Amazing Team!
Circa catered and managed our wedding in July and we cannot recommend them enough. We were the first wedding at Falmer Court. As a new venue we were a little hesitant but due to Circa's good reputation, we knew we were in safe hands. Nick and the whole team went above and beyond to make our day a success and keep everyone happy. There were a few unexpected obstacles the day before the wedding (due to the venue) but Nick and Sean sorted everything quickly and to perfection. The food itself was absolutely stunning, people are still talking the lamb weeks later! The whole team were smiling and full of energy and overall, really contributed to our day. Thank you, Circa!

Incredible Wedding Feast
We worked with Sara at Circa to organise our wedding day food and drink. Sara was highly organised and always available to answer any queries and provide needed advice. She helped us organise the reception canapes, wedding breakfast, evening bar and a pizza truck for evening food. The food at the tasting and on the day itself was perfect and we received so many compliments from guests. Thank you for an incredible wedding feast!

Highly Recommend
We recently used Circa Events to cater our wedding. We had originally booked Circa for our wedding in 2021 and they were extremely accommodating in rescheduling our date. We were also planning our wedding from the US and they were easy to communicate with and were able to quickly arrange a tasting when we traveled into the area. On the day of, the execution of the meal went well and the food was fantastic! Many guests commented how it was the best wedding food they had ever had. We highly recommend booking Circa for your next event!

What is your most memorable wedding?

We catered and managed an incredible 'fair' inspired wedding in a field in east sussex, complete with coconut shys, hoopla and hook-a-ducks, on one of the hottest days of the year! Menu-wise they went for a picnic on each table, with baskets, all the chutneys & pickles you can imagine and huge wedges of cheese, followed by a build your own eton-mess station with colourful meringues! Great fun had by all and so much personality in each element of their day.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Personalise elements of the food and drinks for that extra something - make the food and drinks memorable!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I love it when couples make their own favours for guests, be it homemade gin or jam - people do take them with them if they are personally made!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

From the first email, we'll strive to understand a clients vision for the day. Some couples like the look of our set menus, some want something a little more bespoke for the day, we'll create menus at this stage and do a rough quote based on guest numbers and food/drink choices. In the year of the wedding itself, we'll hold a tasting for our couples (complimentary once booked) so they can choose their options for the day, we'll start planning timings at this stage and over the following months bring together all the plans for the day. If its a marquee or a rural venue we'll do a site visit if we can, and we'll always be at the venue the day before to set up. On the event day we'll be at the venue at least 2 hours before guests arrive and we'll run the day using all the plans we've made over the last few months!
