My passion for baking developed at a young age and grew from there and in 2015 Yvonne’s Cakery was founded. Originally a small home based business, we quickly outgrew our home kitchen and moved into premises where we could expand our kitchen, including a beautiful display area with space to meet our wedding clients. We believe in using only the highest quality ingredients to produce the most delicious, beautiful creations for the centrepiece of your special celebration, whatever the occasion, and we continually invest in our training and development to keep up to date with new techniques and emerging trends. Your wedding cake is a central feature of your special day and is your opportunity to create a real talking point for your guests whether that be a real showstopper or something more refined and elegant. For our bespoke designed wedding cakes, a design consultation and tasting is held either at our beautiful studio/bakery or at our home based studio in Macclesfield. Delivery and set up to your wedding venue is included in any quotation we send over but please note that we do not allow sketches of our designs to be taken away unless a booking fee of has been paid to secure your date. To secure your wedding date a non-refundable £100 booking fee is required with the final balance due 1 month prior to your wedding. A common question we get asked is how much does a wedding cake cost and there is no simple answer to this as it depends on many factors such as the level of detail , intricacy of design and size. As a rough guide our 3 tier cakes start from around £400 with buttercream/semi-naked cakes from £300. We can also provide a selection of matching wedding favours for your guests such as macarons, marshmallows, cakesickles, cake pops, iced biscuits etc. with prices starting from £1.50
