I started working as an assistant in a popular cake shop based in Newquay, which then lead me onto completing my chef and patisserie qualifications at St Austell College. During my patisserie career, I have spent time working for Rick Stein, as well as undergoing courses and training with the likes of 'Peboryon' and 'Couture Wedding Cakes by Sweetcheeks Ltd'. Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Floral, pretty, personal, classy, luxury

What about your business are you most proud of?

I am most proud of my training and qualifications. I pride myself on keeping myself up to date with the new trends and constantly learning and improving my techniques.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Be realistic about your budget. It's easy to run away with your dreams and ideas for your perfect day, but most people have a budget to follow, and that's absolutely fine. Be honest with your suppliers and let them design a perfect cake, flowers etc for you to suit your budget. Many will explain where you can cut costs and which bits you should spend more on.
