From our first contact to handover, I do my very best to alleviate any unnecessary stress. Just sit back and relax, knowing everything cake-related is in hand ahead of your big day. I don't have a set menu for wedding cake flavours. If you can think it, I can create it! I also bake gluten free, dairy free and Vegan – all without compromising on design. My cakes are made fresh to order in the heart of Yorkshire, and delivered to your venue before your guests arrive on your big day. Where to begin. It's really simple. Drop me a line as soon as you have a date confirmed with your venue. I’ll then send you a provisional quote. If you’re happy to go ahead, a booking fee secures your wedding date in my diary. This means I can safely turn other work away in favour of your booking. You are more than welcome to request a sample box before committing with a booking fee. Sample boxes can be collected or posted nationwide (mainland UK only). Around 3-4 months before your wedding, we will arrange a final design consultation. This is around a 30 minute zoom call appointment. At this point we will finalise your chosen flavour(s), size and design. Shortly after, I will issue your final invoice for payment. Final balances are due by 4 weeks prior to your wedding. All cakes contain only the finest ingredients, sourced locally from Yorkshire where possible. What is your most memorable wedding?
I did a wedding in a cemetery last year that was amazing! Think 'Whitby Goth Weekend', but an actual wedding! It was such a fantastic location, and my clients were fantastic!

What about your business are you most proud of?
That I single handedly own and run my business - and that I'm still going strong after 4 years!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't hide your wedding cake in a dimly lit corner!!! It is the only guest at your wedding with it's own table - make it a feature/part of your aesthetic and put it out on show!!
Also, pick flavours that you and your partner love! It's YOUR wedding cake!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Recently a couple used York Ghost Merchants Ghosts to top their wedding cake. They had bought mini ones to hand out as wedding favours, and even sent me one!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
When you've secured your venue - get in touch! I provide a provisional quote on enquiry, and offer cake samples via my website. I also offer a complementary design consultation (in person and zoom available) if required. You can secure your wedding date in advance with a booking fee. Once you're happy to proceed, I produce a final invoice with full payment due by 4 weeks prior to your wedding.
What is your signature cake?
Anything black and gothic! Or totally not the norm!
What is the most original creation you have baked for a wedding?
A 4 tier cake, with 2 floating tiers, and a little graveyard under the floating tiers with fairy lights.
Describe how you got into making wedding cakes.
I made a horrifically perfect 'Joe Exotic' cake for a friends birthday in May 2020 - it went viral, and the rest is history!
