Sweet sils cakes

Amazing wedding cake I messaged Selina two weeks before my wedding enquiring about a cake and with no fuss she was able to make for us a beautiful, tasty cake for our day that everyone enjoyed. So many people asked us where our cake was from! She was able to give us exactly what we wanted in such short time and with little information. A really great service and so lovely to work with too.

Selina was easy to work with from the beginning, which is very important when planning a wedding. She mailed a taster box of about 4 or 5 cake flavours for £30 to our house as we did not live close. The white chocolate and raspberry cake was my favourite as she used fresh raspberries. The level and frequency of communication was good, so I never had to worry about her not coming through. The reason I have not given 5 stars is mainly for the design of the cake. The initial sketches she sent after our meeting were amazing, and I was little disappointed that the cake did not look like I expected it to. For example, I thought the chemistry symbols may have been drawn on in icing but instead they were 'printed' on the icing instead. Additionally, the 'curtain/drapes' look we were going for, did not look as elegant as the initial sketches. The colour (purple) and the arrangement of the flowers were great. On the big day, I did get manage to have any cake but I asked my guests how they felt about it and they thought it was okay./good. Selina was lovely to work with and I wish her the best as she continues to grow her business

Sweet sils cakes she new what we wanted the end result was fantastic. She supplied non dairy as well as normal cakes each cake was moist and perfect the decoration was to order and the lilac colour was a perfect match I would recommend her to everybody. Michele
