Julie was amazing from start to finish, she listened and encouraged our ideas and she wanted make sure we was happy to proceed before we made any payment. No pressure at all. She kept in contact with us all the way through the process. We ordered a 3 tiers cake with a gluten free option on the top tier with a selection of Vegan cup cakes for our guests. They flavours were delicious we had raspberry and white chocolate and blueberry and lemon on the another tier. We had so many wonderful comments from everyone. We would 100% recommend her services 😀

When my now Husband and I got engaged in 2020, our first thought was wedding cake! I'd known of Julie's fantastic work for a little while having worked with her daughter, but it wasn't until we had the taste testing that I realised how fantastic her baking skills were! We ended up deciding on a 6 tier cake because we simply couldn't choose, the flavours were all so delicious and wonderful! We opted for 2 small, 2 medium and 2 large, with the 2 smallest being mine and my Husbands favourites that were for our consumption only. We picked peanut butter, Dorset apple, banana and caramel and Lemon for the four remaining tiers, and we honestly still cannot tell you what our favourite was, they were all amazing!! The design we went for was to have alternative iced with silhouette detail, against naked with flowers. These we presented in a horse shoe shape on cake stands we purchased ourselves (Amazon), and the silhouette cake topper was also a separate purchase from Etsy. Julie created simply beautiful cakes, that looked wonderful and tasted incredible. We whole heartedly recommend her for any event you have planned, and I can guarantee we'll be using her again and again! Thank you Julie xxx

Julie made the most delicious wedding cakes for our wedding back in October 2021. We were immediately drawn to the unique flavour of her Coconut and Passionfruit cake and we had our favourite red velvet cake as well as the traditional fruit cake - and considering that we requested these cakes only 6-7 months before the big day, Julie did an amazing job of creating our dream wedding cakes (especially the fruit cake) in time! As you can see from the image, Julie made us the most incredible wedding cake for our wedding. The design, colour scheme, and taste of the cake was complemented by many guests at the wedding. We had an initial cake tasting with Julie along with a consultation on what we'd like exactly. She was happy to have a thorough discussion with us where we exchanged images/descriptions for the cake. Absolutely first class service. From initial contact through to delivering our wedding cake to the venue and setting it up. Julie even fit me in at the last minute, after postponing the wedding twice due to covid, I’d forgotten the cake on take 3! We had a 3 tier semi naked cake. It was not only a masterpiece but also delicious, in fact, one of our guests instantly recognised it as Julie’s work. I have no hesitation in recommending her to everyone, this lady is a fairly priced cake wizard.

Julie at Sweet Indulgent Fancies was so kind and helpful from the very first time I contacted her about our wedding cake. She was extremely competitively priced and her product was the best quality. She made us a gluten free cake so light and delicious you would never have known. It stayed fresh too. We ate the last slices a week later. Julie made us the most incredible wedding cake - she was the only supplier we spoke to who was even willing to entertain something different, and she seemed genuinely excited to do so! It looked absolutely incredible - better than we had imagined - and tasted even better. It was a bit of a talking point at the wedding and everyone really loved it . . . there were only about 3 rice krispies and half a cornflake left. Would highly recommend Julie and Sweet Indulgent Fancies - will definitely be using her any time I have any excuse to!!
