We create weddings cakes, cupcakes, cookies cake pops and more. All of our cakes are handmade by Cheryl and beautifully decorated to your specifications. We specialise in wedding cakes, giving them bespoke decoration and a completely unique look to suit your wedding day. To create your perfect wedding cake, we will offer you a consultation where we will discuss your requirements, sketch some designs and where most importantly you get to eat cake! Consultations are held at Cheryl’s cake studio at her home. It's a good idea to bring along any ideas; samples, colour swatches, etc and anything that you think will inspire your cake design. Consultations are complimentary once a booking has been made. Bookings Require a £50 non-refundable deposit. The bigger your cake, the more details, decoration or flowers, the more you can expect to pay. Don’t forget you’re talking about not only baking a cake that tastes delicious, but one that looks out of this world, is one of a kind and is perfect for you. You’re paying for the expertise and knowledge of the cake designer, the time to not only source supplies, bake and ice the cake, but also to sometimes spend hours upon hours creating decorations to adorn your wedding cake. It roughly takes me around half an hour to create 1 beautiful rose…cutting each petal, thinning, rolling, gluing, dusting! The list goes on and on! I always give couples an idea of starting prices based on the portions required for your guest numbers, so there isn’t any confusion. But remember all those extra decorations, pearls, piping, flowers…they all add up. We recommend that we deliver and set up your wedding cake at your venue to ensure it is handled correctly. Delivery costs are charged at 50 pence per mile. We deliver to Barrow-in-Furness, areas in the Lake District, the South Lakes and the surrounding areas of Cumbria.
