Nelly’s Sweet Treats. Bespoke celebration cakes and sugar models. Taste is everything and every cake is unique. I make all kinds of bespoke celebration cake’s but mainly wedding cakes up to 130 portions. I also do cake and cupcake towers up to 150 portions and make personalised sugar figures including wedding couples. Introduced in 2024 are sketches of your proposed cake with a sketch to reveal video after your big day. Fully insured and registered. 5 star hygiene rated SCC. North of England Wedding Award Winner 2024, finalist 2023. Member of the Wedding and Venue Supplier Association. Neighbourhood fave 2023. Prestige Award 21-24. ThreeBestRated 23/24. 100% positive reviews Google and Trustpilot. Made without gluten and vegan cakes available on some products.

My perfect wedding Cake

The cake was not only exactly what i had asked for but the attention to detail (matching the bunting pattern on the cake to my actual bunting) and the look a like bride and groom were absolutely amazing. Tasted good too!

Best wedding cake

My husband and I were eloping and having a party following the ceremony. Quite close to the time I decided I wanted a cake and Nelly’s Sweet Treats was recommended. I couldn’t recommend her enough! Fast response time, quick turn around, and most importantly the cake and cupcakes were delicious. They were decorated just as I asked, and the packaging was so pretty and professional. I was able to order everything gluten free as I and some of my guest suffer with coeliac disease, they were a hit - no one could tell the difference, and everything was eaten by the end of the night! Would 100% recommend!

Gorgeous vegan cake!

I messaged Helen with only a few months’ notice and a wedding planned for the busiest time of year. I had no clue what I wanted, other than vegan, but she was so helpful and knowledgeable. She guided me through everything and responded to all my messages so quickly. Helen set the cake up on the day and it was all done so expertly and without needing anything from me which, let’s face it, is what we want on the day! Would definitely recommend Helen!!

What can I say that hasn’t been said before about Nelly’s sweet treats, from the first day I spoke with Helen to order a wedding cake as a gift for my nephew and his bride she has gone above and beyond to make their dream cake and what a cake it was the pictures doesn’t do it justice, it was absolutely beautiful and tasted even better, this is the second cake I have ordered from Helen and all I can say is Wow, nothing is too much trouble she is only a phone call or text away.

I am SO HAPPY that I took the risk

Booked Nelly for my wedding cake as she was a local supplier (literally lives round the corner from my family home), I had never tasted her cakes nor seen her work so it was a risk but I am SO HAPPY that I took the risk as both her service and the cake was incredible! She was so responsive throughout and was really flexible and tailored the cake to exactly how I wanted it. She made all delivery arrangements with the venue direct so I didn’t even have to get involved which took the stress out

FIRST CLASS WEDDING CAKE!! A beautifully made cake. The taste and Texture was outstanding. It just melted in your mouth. Everyone commented on the look and especially the taste. Highly recommended to anyone who wants the perfect cake. Also her Gluten free cupcakes were amazing.

Without a doubt THE BEST cupcakes ever!

Without a doubt THE BEST cupcakes ever! We put an order in for cupcakes to have at our wedding reception, some standard and some gluten free. The sponge was perfect and the ratio of cake and frosting was spot on! Would highly recommend and I'll never go to anyone else for cakes. Super easy booking and ordering process. Kept informed about when the order would be ready for collection. Helen you are amazing at what you do! Thank you so much 😁
