Beautiful cakes

Helen made us a beautiful white chocolate and raspberry cake with 40 vegan chocolate and carrott cakes. They looked beautiful and tasted amazing. Helen also made the cherry blossom for the top of the cake to which fitted in with our venue perfectly. Thank you Helen.

Thank you for such a lovely wedding cake and an easy, enjoyable experience from start to finish. Everyone noted how tasty your cake was, and the beauty of all your intricate detailing. Yourself and our florist make a great team, so hopefully you’ll be working together lots from now on. Our favourite was the biscoff and everyone commented on how lovely each flavour was - you’re really onto a winner.

Helen was a dream to work with

Helen was a dream to work with from the start delivering exactly what we wanted. We received so many compliments about our cake not only it’s appearance but the taste also. The cake was beautifully finished and decorated to a high standard. Each layer was a different flavour and all of the guests enjoyed the different choices. Helen was incredibly accommodating for my allergies, and I couldn’t recommend working with her enough.

Making our day perfect!

Helen made our gorgeous wedding cake and cup cakes catering for 100 people. They looked gorgeous and tasted even better. All our guests were very impressed and came back for seconds. What is your signature cake?

Definitely raspberry and white chocolate cake - it's my most popular flavour!

What is the most original creation you have baked for a wedding?

I had a dark blue night sky themed cake on Hallowe'en, with an acrylic tier filled with fairy lights and navy blue organza.

Describe how you got into making wedding cakes.

I've loved baking for as long as I can remember. In December 2019, I left teaching and London, and moved to Yorkshire to live with my now-husband, G. He supported me to set up Miss Helen's, just in time for a global pandemic to hit!

What would be your show stopper in the Great British Bake Off?

Something Black Forest gateau related - the best flavour!
