Layers & Graces is based in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, run by cake designer Sarah. She has been creating bespoke celebration and wedding cakes since the business launched in 2019. Each cake is created to align and enhance your special occasion. With a passion for clean lines and contemporary techniques, along with an eye for detail, Sarah ensures that each cake tastes as beautiful as it looks. Covering Hertfordshire, Essex and London, Sarah will work closely with you to create your dream centrepiece.

We had the most amazing wedding cake for our day

We had the most amazing wedding cake for our special day. Sarah was absolutely fantastic and is also very, very talented. From start to finish she gave us lots of options with her sample box of cake, followed by ideas for how the cake might look. We opted for the pressed flowers on the cake, which came from the place we had our Reception. Both the traditional fruit cake on the base, and the Black Forest sponge cake on the top tier were delicious. I can't recommend Sarah enough.

The cake was absolutely beautiful

Sarah was amazing! We had absolutely no idea what we wanted from our cake and she really helped us figure out all the details and the cake was absolutely beautiful, beyond anything we could've imagined! It tasted amazing too, and the whole cake ended up being devoured by the guest both during and after the wedding.

Sarah made the most perfect and delicious cake for our wedding day and we could honestly not have asked for better. We went for something a little different and she took our ideas and created exactly what was in our heads! The whole process, from ordering samples to choosing our cake size and flavours, was made so easy, I couldn't recommend enough!

Sarah made our wedding cake and it was absolutely divine. It looked beautiful and tasted even better, we would totally recommend the white chocolate and raspberry filling. Sarah also made us a variety of cupcakes including some vegan ones which where all delicious. Lastly to top off our cake table we had macaroons which where a huge favourite by all our guests. Sarah listened to exactly what we wanted but also gave us options that suited our budget.
