What is your most memorable wedding?
Where I supplied a 6 tier [all double depth] lots of detail - I had to transport in separate tiers and assemble standing on a step ladder. The venue - a huge marquee in the parents grounds - was decorated with bookshelves, a huge fire place with the bride and grooms initials carved above it, wide screen TV's everywhere showing pictures of the bride and groom growing up and later to show scenes from Dr Zhivago. There was a huge stainless steel stage ready for the band for the evening party. The cake was placed on a huge box on wheels which was going to be wheeled in to a bright white light and snowstorm........

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Decide on a theme and stick to it. Make sure you meet your suppliers and see their work - not just pictures [they could be someone elses!]
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A recent wedding was held in a barn, the couple had hay bales and deck chairs for their guests, hook a duck, candy floss, ice cream van, bouncy castle and lots of other idea for a really fun day.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I invite the couple to my home for a consult and cake tasting. I chat to them about their plans for their wedding, venue, colours, flowers, etc. Then I will start to sketch their dream cake. Once bride and groom are happy with the design I will calculate costings. A deposit is then taken to secure the price and the date.
