My prices are based on the size and complexity of the cake. All of my cakes are made from fresh ingredients and from scratch.

For Heavens Cakes Full Description
For Heavens Cakes is based in Leek, Staffordshire and I work around Staffordshire, Cheshire and Derbyshire.
I am a one woman band when it comes to the design and creation of your wedding cake. When you book with For Heavens Cakes it is me that you're booking. All of my cakes are baked from fresh ingredients and this shows in their taste. A wedding cake needs to not only look stunning but it has to taste incredible too! My past customers can attest to this.
I am fully insured and hold a Food Hygeine Level 2 certificate.
All wedding cake orders include sample tasters which dependant on location can be couriered via next day delivery or they can be collected from me around 12 weeks before the wedding date.
I charge a £100 non-refundable deposit to secure your wedding date which is payable on order. This is then deducted from your final balance.

I am Lucy and I am the Owner of For Heavens Cakes. I am mum to a 2 (nearly 3) year old little boy and am currently in the process of planning my own wedding for 2026.
I started For Heavens Cakes during 2020 as a way to help my mental health and it has grown considerably since then!
As well as cakes, I am also employed as an Accountant. My job is very flexible which enables me to focus on cakes when they are booked.

Describe how you got into making wedding cakes.
I have baked from a young age as a way to help my mental health. During lockdown I baked a lot and opened up my home bakery with people collecting from my doorstep. It has grown significantly over the last few years and when I was asked if I would do a wedding cake I jumped at the chance. Since them, wedding cakes have started to take over the majority of the work that I do. I love the process of planning a cake and seeing it through to the set up.
What would be your show stopper in the Great British Bake Off?
It probably wouldn’t be a wedding cake, it would be what I’m planning for my sons 3rd birthday coming up… watch this space
