Celebration and Occasion cakes that taste as good as they look! Cakes are made as fresh as possible, using quality ingredients, with no preservatives. All flavours of cake are made and all dietary requirements are catered for. Wedding cakes can be made in any style. This includes traditional, contemporary, desert tables, cupcake towers, novelty and personalised. However, my most popular style are the more rustic styles of cake in naked, semi-naked and buttercream. Areas covered include South Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire. Prices are as reasonable as possible, and include the delivery and set up of the cake at your venue. Please get in touch for a no obligation quote and more information.

Hi, I'm Sue and I've been making bespoke wedding cakes on a full-time basis since 2012. I make over 70 wedding cakes a year and work very closely as a recommended supplier at some fantastic wedding venues in my surrounding area. I pride myself in being able to make you anything for your wedding cake and I try to ensure that you enjoy designing it with me. nothing was too much trouble
Sue was amazing the whole way through nothing was too much trouble we booked super early and she got in contact with us when she said she would, sent out samples for us to try, made sure we knew exactly what was happening and when. The week before the wedding with all the madness going on she even dropped us a little email to say she had back ups in place god forbid anything happened and we had nothing to worry about in regards to having our cake there! I can’t thank you enough or recommend you any higher! When we move to the next chapter I know where I’m coming for our christening cakes!

beautiful and really delicious
Sue made our wedding cake, which was beautiful and really delicious. She is so easy to talk to and discuss ideas with, and even allowed us to run with the idea of having a navy blue tier to match our colour scheme! The flavours we chose were chocolate orange, lemon and Victoria sponge (blue tier) and I can highly recommend them all! Thank you Sue!

looked exactly how i had pictured it
For goodness cake was suggested to me on fb when we were planning our wedding. I enquired about a semi naked cake and never looked back! Sue was so friendly and helpful all the way through the process, not being pushy at all and giving us honest advice and answers to the many questions we had. Cake tasting was by far one of our favourite wedding planning memories and our cake on the day looked exactly how I pictured it. We had messaged back and forth and sent pictures to I felt relaxed that it would be perfect in her hands at the venue. We had a 3 tier cake of chocolate, lemon and cherry bakewell layers and they were all beautiful. Would 100% recommend Sue for a cake for any occasion ☺️

everything we had imagined
Sue made the wedding cake for our wedding on 22nd August 2019. We had 3 tiers, carrot cake, lemon and cherry bakewell. All 3 tiers were amazing! Not only with flavour but with decoration. Travel Notes

Most of the time couples do not have to worry about travelling to me. I try and make sure the whole cake design process is as effortless as possible for the couple. A lot of the time consultations can be carried out by e mail or phone, but if a more personal approach is needed then I can arrange to meet the coupe at their own house or at the venue if they already have a meeting planned there. A visit from me will also include cake!
