Celebration and Occasion cakes that taste as good as they look! Cakes are made as fresh as possible, using quality ingredients, with no preservatives. All flavours of cake are made and all dietary requirements are catered for.
Wedding cakes can be made in any style. This includes traditional, contemporary, desert tables, cupcake towers, novelty and personalised. However, my most popular style are the more rustic styles of cake in naked, semi-naked and buttercream. Areas covered include South Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire.
Prices are as reasonable as possible, and include the delivery and set up of the cake at your venue. Please get in touch for a no obligation quote and more information.

Hi, I'm Sue and I've been making bespoke wedding cakes on a full-time basis since 2012.
I make over 70 wedding cakes a year and work very closely as a recommended supplier at some fantastic wedding venues in my surrounding area.
I pride myself in being able to make you anything for your wedding cake and I try to ensure that you enjoy designing it with me.
Every cake that I make is bespoke to each couple and I very rarely make the same cake design twice.... have fun and personalise your cake.

Travel Notes
Most of the time couples do not have to worry about travelling to me. I try and make sure the whole cake design process is as effortless as possible for the couple. A lot of the time consultations can be carried out by e mail or phone, but if a more personal approach is needed then I can arrange to meet the coupe at their own house or at the venue if they already have a meeting planned there. A visit from me will also include cake!

What is your most memorable wedding?
Might sound corny, but most wedding cakes that I make are memorable to me because each of them are personal. I did do a 3 foot tall Princess castle cake with crystal droplets and LED lighting last year.... that will take some beating in the memorable stakes!

Fun, personal, rustic, memorable tasty!
What about your business are you most proud of?
I love the fact that couples continue to use me after I've made their wedding cake. I get Christening cakes and first birthday cakes and almost become the family baker. It's lovely to watch the start of a new family and become a small part of watching it develop and grow.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Have fun. Don't feel pressurised into having things or suppliers you don't need or want.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I made a desert table for a wedding and the whole family had been involved in making props for the day. The father of the groom had made a wooden swing cake topper ( which I sat icing rabbits on), but he'd also made a full miniature model of the wedding breakfast setting which was used as the table plan..... tables, chairs, everything.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Couples will tend to approach me for a quote and more info. I give all the relevant info that I can at this point. I then send out free postal samples of 8 of my most popular flavours of cake to make sure that they like how they taste. For a rustic style of cake we can design over the wires or by phone. But for a more personal design I will visit the couple to talk through everything and make sure the cake is designed exactly how imagined.
