Elysian Chocolate Cakes & Favours Full Description
In addition to my beautiful handmade chocolates (available online and at events across East Anglia), I have three main services:
Bespoke Speciality cakes – I design and bake beautifully decorated cakes using Chocolate, Buttercream and Ganache for any occasion.
Favours – The perfect accompaniment to coffee, a party gift bag or table setting, this is my bespoke favour service. Here I work with you to create chocolates to accompany your event, whether that’s hand-rolled Belgian truffles, galaxy-inspired salted caramels or Ruby Chocolate roses, The possibilities are endless (almost).
Chocolate Fountain Hire – Available all year round, my chocolate fountain can be hired separately (with chocolate) or with a dipping foods bar. It’s the perfect addition to any celebration in my opinion and like everything else I do, you can personalise your package to include your favourite foods to dip i.e. strawberries, marshmallows etc.
As with all my products, I specifically select every ingredient to bring the best flavour. My Chocolate especially, is chosen due to its purer form (meaning no bulking agents such as flours, vegetable fats or palm oils are present) and its support for the Cocoa Growing communities.

The majority of my skills are self-taught so I always get a great sense of satisfaction whenever I complete an order and see couples enjoying my product at the end.

Don't budget yourself out of quality products/services.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Adding a miniature bottle of their guests favourite spirit to the wedding favour. So much thought must have gone into this.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Consultation - This can be on the weekend or a weekday evening (whenever suits you really), virtually or face-to-face. Most of the time, I'll meet clients at a nearby coffee shop. I'll ask you a few questions such as number of guests or servings, any themes for the big day etc. Cake Tasting boxes can be requested at this time at a cost and will be sent out via post/delivered to your door. The cost of this box is then refunded if the quote is accepted.
Quote - a Quote will be issued from the ideas we have discussed. Depending on the service, a sketch of the product may also be included.
Quote Acceptance/Order confirmation - a 50% non-refundable deposit will be required to confirm your booking.
2nd Consultation (Cake services only)- You will be sent a cake tasting box, or invited to partake in a tasting. The cake design is finalised and sketched out for reference.
4 weeks prior to the delivery/event - The full amount is now due. I will be in touch to confirm delivery address, times, etc.
Week of the delivery/event - Final confirmation from me regarding delivery time, address etc.
Day of delivery/setup - a text message (to your nominated number) to confirm delivery and setup.
