At Crumbdidilyumptious, I specialise in sculptural, contemporary wedding cakes that serve as a modern centerpiece for your celebration. My work is defined by artistic craftsmanship, refined finishes, and intricate sugar flower artistry, moving away from traditional trends to create something truly bespoke for your aesthetic.
Operating from my studio in Fife, I provide an exclusive design experience for couples across Scotland who value innovation and detail. Every commission is a collaborative journey where raw materials are transformed into a unique edible masterpiece.
Whether you are looking for a bold sculptural statement or an immersive dessert table experience, I focus on leading with artistry to ensure your cake is a singular reflection of your wedding story.
Modern, bright, floral, (ah only 3 I need to think)
How far my skills have come from when I first started not knowing anything.
Book early, leaving things to last minute often means little availability.
I’m loving all the personalised neon signs just now, but I also love hiding little bits in cakes for couples.
I would work out an estimated price if couple had an idea of what style cake they are after, or given a budget and few ideas we would chat about estimated costs. Then we would arrange a consultation and tasting session. At this session we give tasters away of your chosen flavours to eat at home and chat about designs.
After the consultation I would do some sketches of cakes within budget including elements discussed to get the final cake design.
Leading up to the wedding we would then do a quick zoom call just to go over all the details make sure there’s no changes to flavours, timings etc.
Bright and bold colours, Sugar flowers
There’s been a few, a cake with a birdcage between tiers probably the one that stands out the most.
I used to bake with my nana, always loved it. My mum asked me to make a cake for my dads birthday so I took on the challenge and never looked back. The first wedding cake I done was actually for a friend and neighbour, seem like a lifetime ago.
I’ve never watched bake off!
