Charlotte made a beautiful, utterly delicious two tiered cake for our December micro-wedding. We knew we wanted something simple, elegant, and a little festive as a nod to the season, so Charlotte did a rustic buttercream finish with handmade pine cone, pine needle, and holly sugar decorations. We were a bit vague on flavours, but Charlotte had a wide selection to choose from and we settled on chocolate for the top tier and raspberry with white chocolate ganache for the bottom tier. Both were fantastic, and probably the only time we were glad we had so few guests as more cake for us! We particularly appreciated how Charlotte handled the design process. We sent a few ideas and pinterest images back and forth, and then had a zoom consultation, and we really felt that Charlotte listened to and elevated our ideas. After the disappointment of so many postponements and restrictions, the cake really helped make the day feel special. We will definitely commission another one for our first anniversary (and also the next birthday).
