A wedding cake consultation is the perfect opportunity for you to come along to meet me and discuss the details of your wedding. I will work with you to ensure your wedding cake is individually designed to suit your particular style and ultimately creating a centrepiece that is both stunning and delicious. I will have sample cakes available to try, dummy cakes and a full portfolio of previous cakes I have made. Due to the limited amount of cakes I can create in a week I recommend that if you are getting Married throughout the busy seasonal periods you book your cake in sooner rather than later as many of my busy summer weeks book up over 12 months in advance. I require a £100 non-refundable deposit to secure your date and the balance to be paid no later than 4 weeks before your wedding date.

Fantastic supplier....

Karen was a fantastic supplier from start to finish. She made sure I was happy at every possible step and the cake itself was exactly what I had imagined and she had put together in previous designs. The taste was out of this world and it was described as magical by many of my wedding guests. I will be considering Cakes By Karen for all future events.

Over the moon....

Karen was easy to make contact with and came back to us immediately. We arranged a cake tasting for a date we were in the area as our venue was not local to us. She listened to all of our ideas and wishes and made some fantastic suggestions to help us capture the vision. The cake itself was delivered on time on the day, presented beautifully and tasted delicious. We were absolutely over the moon.

Price point was bang on....

Karen was phenomenal to work with. From the initial conversations and arranging taster samples, to the main meeting and finally the wedding day she was helpful, creative, and made this experience the best. Her ability to combine, capture and conceptualise my husband and I's ideas created the perfect cake. The flavour variety was amazing and quality of the cake exceptional, guests all agreed it was the best they have had. Price point was bang on and I will be returning for all future cakes! Yum!

I found Karen through her website and was immediately impressed but the quality an creativity of her designs. I reached out and she was quick and friendly in her responses. Conversation with her was easy and she was able to interpret the two different visions my husband and I had to create the perfect cake. Amazing cake...

Karen was incredibly talented, supportive and helpful. She was fairly priced but produced an amazing cake which we received hundreds of compliments on. Not only was she supportive and flexible when we changed our design, but was flexible in helping us produce vegan friendly side cakes to ensure no one was left out. As a result of my recommendation, my best friend also use her and had outstanding cake too.

Completely brought our vision to life....

Karen completely brought our vision to life and it couldnt have been more perfect. She nailed the brief. It was the hottest June yet, and still the cake stood tall and looked magnificent. Karen was also super kind and patient with us changing the number of tiers, thinking creatively of ways we could make the cake be a showstopper, but also having a cutting cake to allow us to prep some slices for those guests who were not staying on (so that is wasn't too rushed). It was beautiful, thank you!

The cake was beautifully presented...

We had been let down by another cake maker but at the 11th hour, Karen undertook our needs to ensure a cake was available on the big day. Nothing was too much trouble by her and the end result was excellent with positive and kind comments from all the family and guests in attendance. The cake was beautifully presented, a perfect accompaniment to other flora in the surroundings. Texture and taste were fabulous. Karen is a great ambassador for special cake making and I would easily recommend her.

A beautiful touch to our special day.....

Karen was easy and straightforward to work with. Her response time was within a week or two. We approached her with our vision, and she delivered! Karen also kindly sent us a taster box upon request with a variety of her cake flavours for us to try, which helped us to make our decision. We went with two flavours, one for each tier. The finished cake was definitely to our standards and we are thrilled to have had our dream wedding cake come to life. It added a beautiful touch to our special day.

Karen was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Our consultation at her home oozed professionalism, she was so welcoming and the cake was the most delicious cake we had ever tasted. We booked immediately. Her prices are so competitive and very reasonable for the outstanding service you receive.
