Covering Hampshire, Dorset, and beyond. I pride myself on making every detail of each cake by hand,where possible, from carefully crafted sugar flowers, to hand painted designs and sculpted toppers. I like to make each cake unique to the couple, reflecting their personalities, and complementing their day perfectly, the wedding cake should be a centerpiece the day, creating memories for years to come, not only of how the cake looked but also how delicious is tasted! I always use fresh, high quality ingredients, and every cake is baked from scratch, before being filled with tasty buttercreams, preserves and caramels. I then cover each cake in chocolate ganache to provide a smooth base for icing. I also offer iced biscuit favours, brownies, cake pops, meringue kisses and macarons.

What is your most memorable wedding?

That would have to be my own wedding cake! I got married in 2017, so as a recent bride to be, I can relate to how exciting, and sometime intimidating it can be to plan a wedding! I created an immense table of cake, including a large 4 tier, double sided design, featuring zombies, on an electric revolving turntable, plus 6 differently flavoured drip cakes, to suit all tastes. I'm not joking when I say I was devastated to find none left at the end of the wedding!

What about your business are you most proud of?

I am proud of my awards, my progress and my amazing reviews from my incredible couples that trust me with their special cake.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Don't be afraid to say no, if you'd like your design tweaked, say so, I'd rather you were 100% happy!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Ohhh, adding the couple's pets to their cake is a favourite, and also providing personalised iced biscuit favours that double up as place to settings is wonderful and always makes guests smile.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I work closely with my couples, firstly we chat via email to establish my availability for your date and venue, and have a brief discussion about your style, I will send you some quotes and take a £100 deposit to secure your date in my diary. I then offer a consultation to meet in person to taste some samples and design your dream cake. Design Consultations can also be done via email/Skype and I can post your samples for a small fee. If you'd prefer to 'try before you buy' then this service is also available for a small fee. Once your date is secured in my diary, I will provide a sketch of your design, and we will stay in contact in the lead up to your big day. You are welcome to send me fabric swatches, stationery and anything that may help to inspire the design of your cake. I will then create your design and deliver it to your venue on the morning of your wedding, allowing me to ensure it is perfect, then I'll be out of the way before any guests arrive. I also offer stand hire, and wedding favours, I will also be incorporating dessert tables for 2019, including biscuits, cake pops, brownies, baby cakes, macarons and meringue kisses.
