Ikeep bees in the villages around Nottingham and Derby. The favours come from those hives.
A couple writes with a wedding date and a rough guest count. We talk through what is in the cupboard that season. If they can visit, they taste it. If they cannot, I describe it and we choose from that. Then we pack small 50 g jars for the room and, if they want it, a proper set for the top table.
Guest jars start at £3 for 50 g of plain raw honey with a personalised kraft label. Creamed or fruit honey is £3.25. Labels can carry your names and the date, or the ordinary Buzzy Honey Bee wording. Minimum order is 10 jars.
The number to order is not the invitation list. It is the catering list — confirmed adult seats — plus about 10 percent if the jar sits on the plate. Children under one do not get a jar. For the top table we can pack a larger jar, a honey gift box, or honey with a beeswax candle. That is a separate line, not 80 extra guest jars.
Six to eight weeks before the day is comfortable. Closer dates use honey already bottled and a simpler label. A last-minute order is possible when stock allows; that is a rush job and there is an extra charge.
Jars are posted across the UK. Postage depends on the weight of the order and the value of the parcel, because the box is insured. I confirm the exact charge before you pay.
The honey is raw. It may set in the jar. That is normal.

How much do the honey wedding favours cost?
A 50 g guest jar of plain honey with a personalised kraft label starts at £3. Creamed honey or honey with fruit is £3.25. Larger jars, candles and gift boxes for the top table are priced separately. Postage depends on weight and is confirmed before you pay.
What is the minimum order?
Ten jars. Below that, two or three larger jars is usually cleaner than a tiny labelled run.
How many jars do we need?
Count adult seats from the catering list, not the invitation list, then add about 10 percent spare. For 100 adults that is about 110 jars. If guests collect from a side table you can sit closer to the headcount. Children under 12 months should not be given honey.
Can you put our names and the wedding date on the jar?
Yes. You send the exact wording. I print that on the kraft label. If you prefer the ordinary Buzzy Honey Bee label, that is fine too. I do not invent a slogan for you.
Is the honey runny?
Not always. This is raw honey from our own apiaries in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. It may set in the jar. That is normal.
Do you post across the UK?
Yes. Write the date, roughly how many adults you will seat, and the delivery address. We agree the rest from there. Collection in Nottingham is possible by arrangement. There is no shop counter and no public drop-in.
Can some guests have a different honey?
Yes. A common split is plain honey for the room and fruit honey, a larger jar or a small set with a candle for the top table.
How far ahead should we get in touch?
As soon as you have a date and a rough headcount. Earlier is better if you want to taste the honey first or the label needs a proof. I pack to the wedding date, not from a warehouse of ready-made favours.
