Amazing Grace Cakes Full Description
Amazing Grace Cakes is based in Farnborough, Hampshire. From creating fabulous celebration cakes we started creating beautiful wedding cakes, wedding cupcakes, biscuits and favours throughout North East Hampshire, Surrey and London.
Whilst sourcing ingredients for our cakes, we wanted an end result that not only looked and tasted great but also kind to the environment and supported the people that produced them. Amazing Grace Cakes tries to use Fairtrade ingredients where possible and always uses free range eggs. All our cakes are baked fresh to order and contain no added preservatives. Debbie is a Level 1 & 2 City & Guilds Qualified Cake Decorator with a Distinction in Sugarpaste and Royal Icing. Debbie is also a member of the British Sugarcraft Guild.
We pride ourselves in our attention to detail and offer a completely bespoke service tailored to your specifications. We will work with you and your venue, florist, etc to ensure your delicious wedding cake is produced in accordance with your instructions. Don't leave booking suppliers to the last minute.....we are currently booking weddings in our diary for the year after next!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The mother of the bride wanted to surprise her daughter on the day with a three tier rice crispie cake with Lindt chocolate truffles. This was a gift to the bride before she cut her real cake as a reminder of the small rice crispie cakes they used to make when she was a child.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Our process generally involves an e-mail or telephone conversation to confirm date availability. We will discuss style of cake and whether fruit or sponge cake and type of fillings, number of servings and then we will provide an estimate and discuss a cake tasting. If you choose to book your wedding date with us, not only will we design your wedding cake but but also provide a complimentary cake tasting box.
