I worked for MAC Cosmetics for 5 wonderful years and joined the Pro Team to work backstage at events such as London Fashion Week. I now specialise in all weddings, events & media as a freelancer. I have provided services for hundreds of happy brides & wedding parties of all ethnic backgrounds and skin tones. Don’t skimp on the stuff you really desire to make an impact at your wedding. You get what you pay for! =]
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
My friend was proposed to while she was feeding giraffes, so they had blow up giraffes at the reception! Lol.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
You get in touch, then I send a quote. If you wish to proceed you secure your date with me and then I see you for a detailed trial where you express your wedding style vision to me. I design your wedding day look with you and hopefully you leave happy. I then see you on the wedding morning!
What do you love most about your job?
That I get to be a part of so many people’s special day and see so many beautiful dresses and faces!
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
Never apply or do anything to your face that you’ve never done/used before, in the days leading up to the wedding! You could regret it.
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
I casually chat to my brides and encourage them to play music and sip their drink while they sit in my chair with their eyes closed. I always check in with them & tend to their needs so they don’t have to leave the chair. I know what I’m doing as we’ve had a trial so I take over while they relax.
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
Keep hydrated. Try not to touch your face too much and have provisions nearby for a mini touch up.
