Nicola Bird Make Up Artist

My name is Nicola and I am a fully qualified make up artist with over 20 years in the industry. Having trained and worked in Kent and London at some of the top make up brands, our little family have relocated to Lancashire giving me the opportunity to concentrate on my passion of painting peoples faces. I cover Lancashire, Lancaster and the Lake District, specialising in bride, bridal party and wedding make up. Having the opportunity to share in the excitement and atmosphere of someone’s big day is such a wonderful feeling. ​ I work using an array of premium branded products, but being a Bobbi brown trained professional, my kit is predominantly Bobbi Brown based. Other brands I use include Urban Decay, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Mac and Zoeva. ​ My aim is to provide the bride make up that enhances their natural beauty and is individual to their needs. I take great care to ensure that I work with you to understand your needs and any concerns you have to create a make up look that compliments the style of wedding or event. Some of my favourite consultations have included brides bringing samples of their dress fabric, an inspiration from Instagram or even magazine cuttings.
