A very relaxed wedding for a lovely bride who doesn't normally wear much or if any makeup! We didn't have a trial as she said she trusted me on the day, however she absolutely loved gold glitter! The whole morning was super fun and relaxed and she was so happy being playful with the makeup and so happy with the results of her 'makeover'. It's moments like these that remind me of why I went into makeup!

The fact that I started it! It has always been a dream to be my own boss and now I am on this amazing journey and meeting so many lovely people along the way!

Hair and Makeup specific - Get your cut and colour done the week before, gives your hair chance to settle, don't start any new skincare regimes just before the wedding as your skin may react in a negative way!! Wedding planning - Share the love!! give your wedding party tasks to do so you don't feel like the weight is totally on your shoulders.

While the Bride and Bridesmaids were getting ready the maid of honour pulled out a list of questions that she had asked the groom and the bride had to guess the correct answer!! Everyone was laughing and crying (in a good way!) it was a lovely little insight to their relationship!

The first point of contact is usually an informal phone call, I will ask you about your wedding day and discuss any ideas you may have. Between this chat the trial you may want to send my some pictures of the styles you like, if you don't have any ideas don't worry as I can put together a look book of styles I think you may like. The trial takes place a couple of months before the wedding, however you may wish to book in sooner which is absolutely fine. You may wish to bring someone along for a second opinion, the more the merrier! During the trial we will go through your ideas, there may be one particular style you would like to try or we can try a couple. I would also recommend you bring your headpiece or veil if you have chosen one to the trial as we can incorporate it into the look. If you haven't chosen one yet don't worry, I can advise you what may suit the particular hairstyle. Once we have come to a final decision I will take notes and pictures, I would also encourage you to take your own photos or a little video, this is for your reference when you have your dress fittings or you may wish to share the images for a second opinion. We will also discuss ideas for the bridesmaids, whether they are picking out their own looks or you have chosen them for them I will get an idea so I can set up appropriate time slots for everyone on the day. The bridesmaids, MOB and MOG are more than welcome to have their own trial if they wish. I will give you some hints and tips about how to look after you skin and hair between the trial and the wedding, you can also message me with any concerns you may have during the build up. The next time I see you will be the wedding morning, however I will send you a schedule a couple of weeks before with everyones timings, you can also message with any changes or questions you may have. Before you know it the big day will be here, I will arrive early to set up and introduce myself and team if I have anyone else with me so everyone knows who I am and where to find me. Once the morning gets going it usually goes very quickly so just make sure you get a couple of moments to yourself to breath and take it all in!

The people I meet! I have been incredibly lucky to have met some wonderful people over the years! Also, the reaction from everyone when the bride has all her hair and makeup done and comes out in her dress for the first time - priceless!!

Drink water like it's going out of fashion!

I give everyone a time slot to ensure the day/morning runs very smoothly so everyone should know where they need to be at what time. I allow extra time for the bride so you can relax as you are getting pampered, I keep the hair and makeup area as a space which is relaxing and chaos free.

The products I have chosen in my kit have proven longevity and I apply in a way which should last all day long. If you have particular concerns with your hair or skin I can suggest a more personal plan for you. You may want changes to your style for the evening celebrations, I can add this to your package if you wish.
