Telling her that everything is going to be alright. Try to keep her away from stressful situations (mum and dad from experience - sorry) before her grand entrance. Checking that she has everything she needs; offer her a warm drink and snack and my coat to keep her warm if necessary. Talk about all the happy moments she has to look forward to, cutting the cake, the honeymoon, any funny stories, cute moments.
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
Keep an emergency make up touch up kit, a deodourant, a perfume, face oil blotters, a lipstick. Ask a bridesmaid or a friend to keep an eye on you in case you need to 'fix' anything. Keep hydrated.
