Juliet Draper Hair Full Description

Your trial is a very important part of the process, It's a chance to suggest, explore and to confirm as many of the details you've dreamt of. I will make notes and take "before, during and after" photos so that we can achieve as closely as possible your desired look. Every step of the way, I will work with you to make sure you are completely happy with the end result. I use professional hair and makeup products such as Schwarzkopf, Bed Head, WOW, Paul Mitchell, Bobbi Brown, Charlotte Tilbury, Mac and Smashbox. On the day of your wedding, I will provide you with a bridal hair and makeup essentials bag which contains items that will help keep your hair and makeup looking fresh throughout the day. I regularly attend courses in order to keep my styles up to date and follow the latest trends.

I really cannot thank or recommend Juliet enough!!!! From the first time we met at my hair and makeup trial, she was so professional and has so much talent doing what she does. I am a very self conscious person, and she gave me so much confidence throughout my big day. Not only this but she arrived very early on the morning of my wedding, to make sure my 5 beautiful bridesmaids were all ready, as well as my mum's makeup, and my hair and makeup! She made us all at ease and we all enjoyed being glammed up! Always book your chosen Hairstylist early on in your wedding planning, as you want to avoid disappointment if the stylist you really like is already booked!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

It is always a delight to meet my brides at their trials. We start the trial by discussing how you'd like your hair and makeup to look realistically and going through lots of images that I recommend everyone to bring along to their trial. I will write notes and take photos of before, during and after the process for my personal records. I also like to recommend that my brides take photo images away from the trial so they can look back at them.

What do you love most about your job?

Adding that extra special touch of making everyone I help feel amazing on the day!

What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?

Have regular hair trims and facials to keep your hair and skin in the best shape possible before the wedding!

How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?

I always make sure that I arrive at the time that I specify with my bride (at the trial) on her wedding day. I make sure that I create a planned schedule for the morning so everything is written down and everybody knows what time they are due to have their hair and makeup done. I am quiet and calm and put all my efforts into making sure that everybody is ready in plenty of time without any rush at the end of the morning!

What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?

Keep a small bottle of hairspray, comb and lipstick in a little bag nearby, so that you can refresh your face framing curls and lipstick throughout the day.
