I am a hair and makeup artist that has been in the industry for 4/5 years. I have worked in Theatre, film and TV, as well as doing many weddings and proms throughout the year. Trials start at £60 for the bride. If anyone else in the bridal party would like to have a makeup or hair trial this would be £50.00
Bridal makeup on the wedding day is £80.00.
Bridesmaids/ mother of the brides makeup is £65.00

Wedding day hair for bride is £50.00
Wedding day hair for bridal party is £45.00

I use MAC, BOBBI BROWN, NARS and URBAN DECAY in my makeup kit. Before I start to apply your makeup I will cleanse, tone and moisturise your skin so that your skin is prepped and ready. This will help your makeup last longer and look smoother. I also offer free strip lashes on your wedding day for all bridal party that will be having their makeup done by me. These come with a little glue pot which you can keep also.
I also offer hair styling. This is either hair up-dos, curling or bouncy blow-dries. As well as hair styling im fully trained in the application of hair extensions so please ask if you’d also like a consultation for these.
In addition I'm also trained in special effects makeup , so if you have any tattoos that you'd like to cover up on the day please let me know prior. Furthermore I'm a fully qualified in hair extensions. Please contact me for further information.
I request a 50 % deposit 6 weeks prior to your wedding day or when you have your bridal trial ( which should be around the same time ). This is a non refundable deposit unless something should happen on my behalf. The remainder of the money should be paid the week before your wedding date.

Describe your typical process with a couple.
I like to do a trial to talk to the bride about what she would like on her wedding day and also what she would like her bridesmaids to look like. I complete the makeup trial on the bride only up to 6 weeks before the wedding. An additional cost is added if the bridesmaids want a trial. We then go through looks and ideas and complete the makeup. It is a trial so if the bride doesn't like please just say and we can try different things. I will then write down all other information e.g. venue and timings. Then on the day I arrive and organise my kit and begin the makeups and hair.
What do you love most about your job?
Everyone is so different and I've met some lovely people.
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
Skin preparation such as : cleanse , tone moisturise, waxing / plucking brows and maybe have a facial massage before your wedding.
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
I try to be as organised as I can and write an order that I will be doing peoples hair and makeup. I try to do the bride last so her makeup is the freshest but if she's got a lot of bridesmaids I will do her skin prep before to give it time to settle before applying the makeup. I make sure that either the mother of the bride or maid of honour is done before the bride so that when the bride is having her makeup done she can relax and ensure that someone else is there to sort out if theres any last minute hiccups.
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
Reapply lipstick throughout the day. If you are wearing a bold lip carry a few straws with you. I always apply water proof mascara to my brides to stop those dreaded panda eyes down the aisle.
