House of Bendy

A massive thanks to House of Bendy for sorting out my hair and beard etc. I was doing a reading at the ceremony, and Bendy made sure I looked as good as you can make me look! Especially when you say 'Can you do not looking too done!'.

Bendy not only made the bride's hair and make-up look phenomenal but also created a great atmosphere on what is, lets face it, a bit of a stressful morning! She made the bride feel at ease and beautiful. She also did my hair and helped me pick an outfit when she could see I was pushed for time which was definitely not part of the package! Really lovely experience I will definitely be recommending her in the future :)

Clare's wedding make-up service couldn't have been better. We organised the wedding really quickly so there wasn't time for trail run, but despite this it was still great and she took the ad-hoc nature of the event perfectly in her stride, even helping me choose which shoes to wear as the taxi was arriving! Clare really listened to my wishes (super natural looking) and had the perfect laid-back approach we needed. A good friend recommended Clare having used her for a photo shoot recently. I wasn't planning on anyone but me/friends doing my make up, but this was extra money well worth spending. I felt amazing all day so I'm so glad she did, and absolutely pass that recommendation on. Thank you!

From our initial meeting and make-up trial to the final few minutes before my daughter's wedding, Claire (Bendy) was super cool but a complete professional. The whole bridal party looked stunning and she took time to listen to our preferences whilst subtly making recommendations or suggestions if needed. I would not hesitate to recommend House of Bendy to anyone - Claire deserves every success!

Claire did my makeup for my wedding and it was absolutely perfect. I felt amazing, and my makeup remained flawless all day and well into the early hours. I had a lovely trial session prior to the day, and Claire was so helpful at making suggestions about what would suit me. She is beyond talented and I couldn't recommend her more - from natural bridal to full on sparkle, she's what you're looking for!

Claire did my make up for my friend Laura’s wedding. She was friendly, easy going and fun to talk to putting us all at ease. The make up was natural but still pretty and I was particularly happy when Claire took on board that I wanted a light base. I felt really good on the day even though my skin was behaving badly!

Claire did an amazing job of listening to exactly what I did and didn't want and I was so happy with the final result, I never imagined my make up could look so good. I spent a long time looking for a make up artist who specialised in a more natural bridal look and as an extra bonus Claire was great at putting me at ease both at my trial and on the day and was a lovely person to have with us as we got ready in the morning. The make up lasted really well and I'm still using tips Claire gave me on the day! I couldn't recommend Claire highly enough, me and my two bridesmaids were so happy with our make up and we had lots of compliments.

Claire got our wedding day off to such a wonderful start - the girls and I were so pleased with our make up and with all her help prior to the day. Claire made everything so straightforward so I’m really grateful! All the communication was really smooth, our trials were perfect and she didn’t bat an eyelid when I added an extra person at 1 days notice! For me in particular, who feels most comfortable in jeans and a ponytail, it was wonderful to hit the balance between looking great and still looking like myself - Claire absolutely nailed it and I’ve never felt more confident. It honestly helped keep me calm in the run up to the ceremony so I can’t thank her enough. She’s amazing and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to others.

I couldn't recommend Claire enough! She was fantastic at sorting out a pre-wedding meet where we did a trial and she really listened to what I wanted! She gave me plenty of time on the day and made me feel like a princess! She even batted off any unwanted questions as well. All her products are animal cruelty free and they stayed in place the whole day. A massive thank you to her for making my day so special. My mum also had her makeup done for the day.

I couldn’t have asked for a more happy, talented person on my wedding day. It really was a pleasure to have her there, as a part of my special day. She made me feel comfortable, asked questions and listened to my thoughts/requests. Her makeup is all cruelty free and very light to wear. Would recommend Bendy in a heartbeat.
