She does not sell a makeup trial. She sells the certainty of knowing exactly how your wedding morning will feel, before it ever happens. Every look is created in person, at the studio, before the wedding day. Nothing is improvised on the morning.

Do I need a bridal makeup trial?
Every professional bridal application starts with a trial. It is where your look is actually created, not guessed at on the morning. Gessica uses the trial to learn your skin, your undertone, your vision, and to plan your entire wedding morning timeline. Brides who skip it are the ones who spend their wedding day feeling slightly uncomfortable in a look they never properly tested. Book the trial. It is the most important appointment of your bridal prep.
How does the trial work and where does it happen?
The studio trial is £49 and takes place at Gessica's studio in Darlington, County Durham. You come to her. It is open to any new UK bride and lasts 90 minutes. If you would prefer Gessica to come to you for a standalone trial without booking a package, the rate is £179 plus travel. If you book the Signature Package or The Full Journey, the trial is included and Gessica travels to you as part of the package. No need to come to the studio.
What is included in the £49 studio trial?
Ninety minutes with Gessica. Skin type and undertone analysis. Your full wedding day look created and photographed. Custom shade notes saved to your file. Your wedding morning timeline planned together. A pre-wedding skincare prep guide. Real value of £292, yours for £49. If you do not love the result at the end, you do not pay.
How much does bridal makeup cost?
The studio trial is £49. The Signature Package, which includes your trial and full wedding day makeup with Gessica travelling to you anywhere in the UK, is £479. If you have already done the £49 studio trial, you pay £300 to complete the Signature booking, as the £179 trial value is deducted. The Full Journey is £979, covering the complete bridal experience from engagement to wedding day, and £800 if you have already done the studio trial. Destination weddings start from £1,199, with travel quoted separately.
Does Gessica travel to me?
Yes. For the Signature Package and The Full Journey, Gessica travels to you anywhere in the UK, including London, Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham, Liverpool and beyond. Travel costs are quoted and confirmed before you commit. For destination weddings across Europe and worldwide, packages start from £1,199 with travel quoted separately. The only appointment that requires you to come to her is the £49 studio trial.
Can Gessica do the full bridal party?
Yes. Bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and groom, sisters, aunts and guests can all be added. Bridal party places are £150 per person, or £130 each for parties of four or more. Gessica is already with you on the day, so there is no extra travel cost for party members on your wedding day. Include your full party size when you enquire so the morning timeline can be planned accurately.
How far in advance should I book?
For UK weddings, 6 to 18 months ahead is typical, particularly for peak season dates between May and September. For destination weddings, 9 to 12 months is recommended as summer dates in Italy, Greece and Portugal fill quickly. If your wedding is sooner than this, do not assume Gessica is fully booked. Reach out at [email protected] and her team will check availability for your date. Last-minute dates do come up and it is always worth asking. Gessica is now booking 2026 and 2027.
Do you travel for destination weddings?
Yes. Gessica travels internationally with destination packages starting from £1,199 for the bride. She has worked in Italy, Portugal, Greece, France, Spain and beyond. Travel and accommodation are quoted separately at cost and confirmed before you commit. No surprise charges. If your destination is not listed, enquire anyway. Nowhere is off the table.
What if I don't love my trial result?
You do not pay for the makeup. That is the Gessica Promise. If you are not completely happy with your look at the end of your trial, the makeup fee is refunded in full. Any travel costs already incurred are non-refundable, as these are booked and paid in advance. No awkward conversations. No questions asked.
What happens on the wedding morning?
Gessica arrives calm, prepared and on time. She manages the full morning schedule so every member of your party is ready without anyone feeling rushed. The look has already been created at the trial, so the morning is pure execution. No decisions, no surprises, nothing improvised. The timeline is planned with you in advance so everyone knows exactly when they need to be ready. You are looked after, exactly as planned.
