What is your most memorable wedding?
They are all memorable as they all have such personal touches based on personality or something meaningful to the couple. If I had to pin point one wedding it would have to be Charlotte and Tom. Both the bride and groom have muscular dystrophy and rely on round the clock care. The love between this couple was so incredible and they made sure that their illness was not going to stop them from tying the knot and having the most incredible day. Truly inspirational and so moving 👌

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The bride having a heart shape piece of her mum's wedding dress sewn in to the inside of her dress next to her heart. She wanted her mum to be with her on her wedding day. A very emotional but beautiful morning. I literally cried when she told me about it.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Contact via email for questions and booking followed by a call if required. I always send my trial tips once a booking is made, along with any receipts for payments received. Book a trial date. At the trial we talk about the brides vision, dress, hair accessories, theme and hair ideas etc. Trial ideas and offer advice based on face shape, personal style to create a look personal to your features etc. Photos are taken at intervals for my records and for you to look at too. Once a style is chosen, notes are added to my bridal form as a record of everything used. We discuss and/or trial other members of the bridal party. A timetable is made to give a rough guide as to how the morning will work, taking other suppliers such as make up and photography in to account.
On the day I will arrive at the agreed time to set up and then work thorough the timetable. I always allow plenty of time for extra little moments, like flowers or gifts arriving and making sure you are ready in plenty of time for pics and maybe a cheeky glass of bubbles. Along side all of this I always love to see a relaxed bridal party so lots of chat and laughter about lovely things too. I'm always happy to offer a helping hand once my work is done and will stay with you until you are ready to leave to ensure you look your absolute best.
