Hi, I'm Liz, the owner of Elizabeth Clare Bridal Hair & Makeup.
With over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry, I specialise in creating timeless, elegant bridal hair and makeup that enhances your natural beauty and helps you feel confident, relaxed and completely yourself on your wedding day.
My signature style is soft, modern and polished, whether that's glowing natural skin, effortless Hollywood waves, romantic textured updos or soft glam makeup. Every look is tailored to your features, personal style and wedding vision, ensuring you still feel like you, just the most beautiful version of yourself.
Alongside my bridal work, I have extensive experience in television, commercial advertising and modelling. Having spent years both behind the scenes and in front of the camera, I understand exactly how hair and makeup translate through photography and film. This gives me a unique perspective when creating bridal looks that not only look beautiful in person but photograph flawlessly throughout your wedding day.
I also offer luxury hair extension services, including colour matching, fitting and styling, helping brides achieve their dream hair with additional length, volume and confidence.
As well as working personally with many of my brides, I run a trusted bridal agency and work alongside a carefully selected team of talented hair and makeup artists. This allows us to accommodate weddings of any size, from intimate celebrations to large bridal parties, while maintaining the same high standards, attention to detail and calm, professional experience.
From your initial enquiry through to your wedding morning, my aim is to make the entire process enjoyable, stress-free and tailored to you. I pride myself on creating a relaxed atmosphere where you can sit back, enjoy being pampered and feel completely confident that you're in safe hands.

What is your signature bridal style?
My signature style is soft, timeless and effortlessly glamorous. I love creating looks that enhance your natural features rather than masking them, ensuring you still feel like yourself when you look back at your wedding photos in years to come.
How far in advance should I book?
Peak dates can book up 12-24 months in advance, especially Saturdays between May and September. If you've already secured your venue, I'd recommend enquiring as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Do you offer trials?
Absolutely! Bridal previews are one of my favourite parts of the process. It's where we get to know each other, discuss your vision and create a look that feels perfect for you before the big day.
Can you accommodate large bridal parties?
Yes. As well as working personally with many of my brides, I run a bridal agency with a trusted team of talented artists. This means we can comfortably accommodate larger bridal parties while ensuring the morning remains calm, organised and enjoyable.
How long will hair and makeup take on the wedding morning?
Every wedding is different, but I create a personalised schedule for every bridal party to ensure everything runs smoothly and everyone is ready with plenty of time to relax before the ceremony.
Do you travel?
Yes, I regularly travel throughout Lincolnshire, Rutland, Nottinghamshire, Cambridgeshire and beyond. Destination weddings may also be considered, so please get in touch to discuss your plans. Travel in the UK is charged at 50p per mile.
Do you provide hair extensions?
Yes. I offer luxury hair extension consultations, colour matching, fitting and styling. Extensions can be a wonderful way to add volume, length and fullness to your chosen bridal hairstyle.
What do you enjoy most about weddings?
Without a doubt, seeing a bride's reaction when everything comes together. There's such a special moment when hair, makeup, dress and accessories all come together and she finally sees her bridal look for the first time. I never get tired of being part of that moment.
What makes you different from other bridal hair and makeup artists?
Alongside over 20 years in the beauty industry, I also have experience working in television, commercial advertising and modelling. Having spent years both behind the scenes and in front of the camera, I understand exactly how hair and makeup photograph, helping me create looks that look just as beautiful on camera as they do in person.
Do you offer any extras on the wedding morning?
Yes! As well as being a bridal hair and makeup artist, I'm also a qualified photographer, experienced content creator and commercial model. This gives me a unique understanding of posing, lighting, angles and storytelling.
Throughout the morning, I'm often able to capture beautiful behind-the-scenes content of your bridal preparations, including candid moments, detail shots and little snippets that you can enjoy while waiting for your professional photographs and videos. Brides often love having these extra memories to look back on and share with family and friends.
