Dollface Make-up Studio

Gemma and Amy did the hair and make up for my wedding at Peckforton Castle, 2nd May 2016. They were both so good at what they do and very polite and professional. Arrived on time and made all of us look like film stars !! I went for a trial a few weeks before and was over the moon with the result. I couldn't stop looking in the mirror :)

I first met Gemma over a year ago at my bridal makeup trial. For me, personality was just as important as the makeup artistry and I was so so happy to find out Gemma was so warm and friendly! She put me at ease straight away and I had such a fun time with her and Amy, the hair stylist, discussing my big day! When the day of the wedding arrived, Gemma and Amy turned up on time with a mass of makeup and hair tools! I'd asked for them to do hair and makeup for me, my mum and my four bridesmaids.

I booked Dollface for my wedding and I cannot tell you how much of an AMAZING job she did!! Both her and Amy were so friendly and chatty and just added to the atmosphere of the morning, it felt like I had another 2 of my best friends in the room on my most special day! The morning was so relaxed and giggly, it was perfect! Gemma did my make up and my 3 bridesmaids and we were complimented all day long, we all felt like princesses and I think everyone could tell!!

Well where do I start! Picking a makeup artist for your wedding day is a big thing! Every bride wants to look their best on their big day so your putting your faith into someone to create that magic look for you. I found Dollface by accident really and it was the best accident I ever made! Gemma was lovely to speak to and she brought my ideas to life in a better way than I ever imagined! I felt like an absolute princess and received so many compliments on the day.

Gemma did my wedding make up for myself, sister and mum in 2015. Being someone who doesn't wear much make up I had no idea what I wanted but Gemma knew what would suit me and did a fabulous job. I didn't even feel like I was wearing much make up and it lasted all day, with the obvious freshing up of lippy. I would recommend Gemma and Dollface Make Up to any bride to be and her wedding party. Fantastic, friendly, professional service.

I could not recommend Gemma enough! She provided hair and make-up during my wedding in September for me, my bridesmaids and my mum, and was just amazing! Not being someone who usually wears make up or does much with my hair, I was made to feel totally at ease. I was over the moon with what she did with my make up. She is extremely talented and very personable-and was fantastic on the day of the wedding.

Gemma did the makeup for me and three bridesmaids for my wedding. She really took the time to listen to my needs during the trial and on the day just got on with it with the products she had tested. She is friendly, professional and super talented at what she can achieve. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone and definitely the best make up artist in the area!

Gemma did my wedding make up for me & a couple of guests (it was last year, only just got round to reviewing!). Would definitely recommend, she understood exactly what we wanted & it lasted all day. Her hairdresser Chloe does a fantastic “up do”, again perfectly achieving the look I was after. Was a very happy bride! xx

Gemma is simply superb at what she does but on top of that she's such an amazing person too! I absolutely LOVE it when I get to photograph a wedding where she is going the make up as I know the bridal party are going to look stunning!!! If you're looking for a make up artist then BOOK HER NOW!
