What is your most memorable wedding?
My favourite wedding has to be a woman in Sheffield, when I met her for her trial we instantly clicked then on the big day I glammed her and 5 bridesmaids and I enjoyed every minute of it, I even got emotional seeing her in her wedding dress.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Natural, elegant, glam, wearproof
What about your business are you most proud of?
Keeping my prices low so everyone has access to my services.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Set up a dedicated email address for your big day! That way you have everything in one place and things don't get lost amongst the other emails you get to your personal email address!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Gifts been given to the bride on the big day from her bridesmaid
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I communicate with the couple to find out their requirements and as much information about them and their big day as possible. I want the makeup appointment to feel personal and for my brides to feel relaxed around me.
What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing people's faces when they look in the mirror, you can truly tell they feel confident and beautiful.
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
Prep the skin! Moisturising in the weeks leading up to the big day is so important and makes such a difference to the makeup application.
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
Reassure her, talk to her!
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
Have fun & don't worry! If a makeup artist has done their job right you shouldn't need many touch ups throughout the day, although lips are a good one to keep on top of! As you'll be eating and drinking a lot it can be difficult to keep your lips looking as good as they did that morning, take a lipstick with you to touch up throughout the day.
