Claire offers a friendly, professional service and will make sure you feel relaxed and comfortable during the preparation for your big day. Using her extensive knowledge, she will create a look for you that will make you look and feel the most beautiful version of yourself. Claire recommends a trial session for your hair and make-up before your wedding day. (Normally around 6-8 weeks prior to your wedding) When you have your trial Claire will discuss with you your colour scheme, bridesmaids’ dresses and the over all look that you want to achieve. Once Claire has an understanding of what your wedding will be like she will then advise and trial different looks for you to see.

Amazing Wedding Make Up

I booked Claire for wedding make up for me, my mum and 4 Bridesmaid and she was absolutely fantastic! Top quality service from start to finish. She took the time to find the perfect look during the trial and did a fantastic job of keeping me calm the morning of. Claire was able to create exactly what I wanted, a natural look, that still made me feel glam, and lasted all day! She also made my mum and Bridesmaids feel their best! Claire's connections within the industry are also fantastic. She saved me when my hair stylist pulled out a few months before the day, by providing a list of stylists that she trusted and recommended. It worked out perfectly and I ended up having the dream team for my special day. I can't recommend Claire enough!!

Looking good for my big day

Claire did a wonderful job for my wedding day. I had a trial for hair and makeup first. We discussed colours and she did two looks which was good to have a choice. She was happy to tweak the looks too. We also tried a few hair looks. On the day, all went to plan and I was very happy with how I looked. My makeup lasted all day, still looking good for the evening with no touching up needed. Claire is also a lovely lady to work with. I would recommend using her for your special day.

Absolutely stunning

Claire made me, my bridesmaids, flower girl and mother of the bride feel so incredibly beautiful. She worked with me during my trial to help achieve my vision, and even went above and beyond to invite the florist to attend so they could collaborate on my hair. On the day we all felt so at ease and she worked effortlessly. We looked flawless. I had so many compliments on my hair especially. I woukd recommend Claire over and over again.

Claire was absolutely fantastic - we had her do my hair and makeup and the makeup of my bridesmaids, and she was exceptional! She is so friendly and personable, and it means everyone relaxes in her presence. Our Wedding

Claire put me at ease and was very good from the trial session to my big day. She understood my desired look and I was definitely not disappointed. She also, after having no prior experience with my bridesmaids who live in Europe, made them feel very comfortable and relaxed. Claire also went out her way to assist my Matron of Honour who was not part of her morning schedule, to have a hairstyle makeover. I would highly recommend Claire 100%.

Fantastic hair styling with Claire!

I was nervous about finding the right hair stylist for my wedding as I don't normally do my hair, so I wanted to find someone who would respect my wishes while giving me some suggestions. Claire was able to do just that and made me feel right at ease when I went to do my trial. Claire was very professional and spent a lot of time ensuring I was happy with the final result of my hair. On my wedding day, she arrived on time, was very prepared, and able to work in the smallish space I had to get ready in. My hair looked beautiful and Claire made sure that my hair was not anything to worry about on the day. Thank you again Claire!

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

It's a good idea to book your suppliers early then be guided by them on what you need to do when.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Gosh, there are quite a few amazing ideas I have seen but one that sticks in my mind, because it was so effective, was when a bride had made her own bouquet. Instead of flowers she had made origami flowers out of old maps. Her colour scheme was light blue plus, her and her partner loved travelling together so it was a perfect personal touch.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Once you have confirmed your booking we will look at setting a date for your trial. On your trial we will have a good chat about the style of your wedding, your dress and what kind of look you would like to go for. We will then trial out your bridal look and make sure you are completely happy with your final look. At your trial we will discuss the timings etc of the wedding day so everything is all planned out. I will then email you the details we have discussed so you know exactly what we are doing on your wedding day.

What do you love most about your job?

What I love most about my job is that I get to help people feel truly amazing - on the inside and out - by making them look and feel their absolute best. It's such a gift to be part of someone's special day, witnessing these once in a life time moments and being there for all the joy and love that fills the air. Every wedding is such a happy celebration and I am honoured to play a small part in that magic.

What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?

Always drink plenty of water. Start a good skin care routine about a year before your wedding to ensure your skin is at it's best. Also, try and have your eyebrows tidied a few days before your trial and wedding day. If you are planning to have lash extensions it is a good idea to trial this a few months before your wedding day to check you like the look and feel of them. Oops, that was more than one tip!

How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?

I allow plenty of time for each person for their hair and make up so the morning can feel relaxed and calm ensuring everyone can enjoy themselves. I will then be around to help the bride and bridal party with anything they need whilst getting ready togo.
