Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Most of my brides come to me as a result of recommendations by past brides or other wedding suppliers. Being recommended is the biggest compliment a stylist can receive! Not only has a client enjoyed her experience with Bridal Hair in Hampshire, they want their friends and family to have the same. This always makes me incredibly proud and inspires me to keep working hard, keep my knowledge up-to-date, and keep improving what I can offer my brides.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
I try to offer brides in the midst of wedding planning all the advice I can, and for those that have not had the chance to meet me yet, I regularly update my blog with tips, suggestions, and recommendations. The most valuable tip I can give to brides, however, is to keep a level head and celebrate the small victories!

Describe your typical process with a couple.
After receiving your initial enquiry, I will chat to you over the phone or by video chat so I can get a better idea of your vision for the day. I'll ask for details about your venue, your dress, and any accessories you might have your eye on. Then, you will be invited in for a hair trial in my studio. This is our opportunity to get to know each other a bit better and try out some styles that I hope you'll love. A style is usually settled on at this first appointment, but I always encourage my brides to book in a second, complimentary, hair trial with me closer to their wedding date to make any necessary changes. If you are booking my services for your bridal party too, I would always recommend that at least one bridesmaid visits my studio for a hair trial too. Then, come your wedding day, we are well-prepared to recreate your dream wedding look!
What do you love most about your job?
I am motivated by the opportunity to be creative and to make a difference to people on the most important day of their life. Working in the wedding industry gives me the chance to do just that, in a way that you couldn't find anywhere else. Seeing the emotional bride as she heads towards her wedding ceremony, with the wedding look she has always dreamed of, is always such a special moment, and it is a privilege to have been part of the team to get her and her bridal party ready!
What is your No. 1 beauty tip for a bride?
Always make sure you chat through your ideas and plans thoroughly with your hair and make-up artists. It is so important that, come your wedding day, no further changes to your style need to be made. You can just relax, enjoy yourself, and trust in the decisions that you've made. Your wedding morning is a time filled with excitements and butterflies, but we want to keep nerves to an absolute minimum!
How do you keep the bride feeling calm on her wedding day?
I have always found that kindness, friendliness, and a dedication to quality is enough to reassure a bride on her wedding day. If I can, I will go above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable, and to help her through any last-minute nerves. I understand the significance of the wedding morning for the bridal party, and so strike a balance between offering a helping hand and letting the bride and her bridesmaids enjoy the experience.
What advice would you give to brides to stay looking great throughout their wedding day?
The most important thing is to relax and enjoy yourself. Everybody knows that the most important thing to wear on your wedding day is a smile! It's my job to make sure that your hair stays looking perfect, so I insist that you leave that to me why you concentrate on having a magical day.
