With over 15 years experience in the industry, Sophie John decided to launch Aglaia in 2016. Sophie trained in the UK and then moved to the French Riviera for over 7 years, where her love of hair and make-up evolved, gaining experience with high end clientele in villas and on yachts, including A-List events in Cannes ie. Cannes Film Festival, Lions, events at Eden Roc. If you're in need of a highly professional service who only uses the highest quality products then Aglaia is for you.

Sophie did my hair and make-up for my wedding, and it was absolutely fantastic! My bridesmaids and I each had different hair styles and different preferences with the make-up, and she did a great job with them all. She was really friendly and helped make the whole process of getting ready feel smooth and relaxed. I absolutely loved my make-up and especially my hair, which stayed put all night even with lots of dancing! Thank you!

First and foremost, I've never felt more beautiful! Sophie did such a wonderful job with my hair and make-up for my wedding and leading up to the day. She was extremely helpful with the trial and had great recommendations to help give my hair the volume I wanted and it stayed fabulous all day, despite lots of dancing! The bridesmaids all wanted something different which was no problem at all for Sophie, they all looked wonderful!
