Ballindoolin House & Gardens is Ireland’s newest exclusive-use wedding estate, opening for weddings in 2027. Set across 250 acres of beautiful West Kildare countryside, just 45 minutes from Dublin, the estate centres around an elegant 1822 Georgian limestone manor, surrounded by mature woodland, formal lawns, historic courtyards and one of Ireland’s most remarkable private gardens.

A house has stood at Ballindoolin since 1730, and its history can be felt throughout the estate. Inside the manor are original fireplaces, a grand staircase and distinctive Hindu-Gothic plasterwork, while outside the magnificent two-acre Victorian Walled Garden has been lovingly restored to its former grandeur. Herbaceous borders, lavender-lined paths, rose beds, fruit trees and a working kitchen garden create an idyllic setting for ceremonies, photographs and summer celebrations.

Exclusive use is at the heart of the Ballindoolin experience. When you marry here, the entire estate is yours exclusively for your wedding and your guests. Your celebration includes the full manor and its principal rooms, the 250-acre estate and parkland, private parking, the Walled Garden and historic courtyard, with complete access throughout your wedding day.

Ceremonies can take place outdoors in the beautiful Walled Garden or indoors within the Main House. Following the ceremony, guests can enjoy a drinks reception with Prosecco, draught beer, tea and coffee, canapés and garden furniture throughout the courtyard and grounds, before photographs across the estate.

Dinner is served in The Garden Room, a beautiful light-filled reception space opening onto both the historic courtyard and Walled Garden. Here, your five-course wedding reception meal is created by Ballindoolin’s resident culinary team, 3Cooks, who bring more than 75 years of combined experience. Their food is seasonal, honest and rooted in the surrounding landscape, using trusted local producers and, wherever possible, ingredients grown in Ballindoolin’s own kitchen garden.

As the evening begins, the celebration moves to The Coach House, an atmospheric historic space dedicated to music, dancing and late-night celebrations. Your package includes late-night food, a Residents’ Bar with drinks package and the opportunity to dance into the early hours.

The experience continues beyond the wedding day. Ballindoolin has 12 beautifully renovated bedrooms, including double and family rooms with en-suite bathrooms, with a full Irish breakfast served in the Main House the following morning. Couples can also extend their stay with an exclusive pre-wedding celebration or a relaxed Day Two gathering with family and friends.

Every wedding also includes a dedicated Ballindoolin event coordinator, full venue walkthrough and menu tasting for two, day-of coordination, access to the Moposa wedding management platform and a carefully selected list of trusted local suppliers.
