After a slightly rocky start during the booking process, we were understandably a little concerned about how everything would come together. However, once you stepped in, we completely relaxed. Your help, guidance and communication throughout the planning process was fantastic, and nothing we asked was ever too much. Then Emma joined you and she was just as helpful, and both of you were brilliant from the morning of the wedding to when you left. You made sure everything was organised and that we were completely looked after, which meant we could relax and enjoy the morning rather than worrying about anything. Conor then took over for the evening and was absolutely brilliant. He was great craic, always checking that we were okay and making sure we had a drink in our hands! Adam was also incredibly attentive throughout — really observant, helpful and always seemed to notice if we needed anything before we even had to ask. The whole team were fantastic. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble and the level of care we received was brilliant. Even down to the reservations team who made everything seamless from the beginning and were incredibly accommodating. The wait staff and bartenders were impeccable. They noticed every small detail and were constantly attentive without ever being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble, and the level of service throughout the day was perfect. It genuinely felt like we were regulars who knew everyone, and that everyone knew us, which made the whole experience feel so relaxed and personal. The food was exceptional and our guests are still raving about it, especially being offered seconds of the beef and salmon. Our guests were also particularly impressed with the price of the drinks at the bar, which was a lovely bonus! The venue looked beautiful and, most importantly, we were able to completely enjoy our day knowing we were being looked after. We had the absolute best day and are so happy we chose Barberstown. A huge thank you to you, Emma, Conor, Adam and the wider Barberstown team for everything they did to make our wedding day so enjoyable. When preparing for the wedding, we were conscious that although this was the most special day of our lives, it was a normal working day for everyone else - however, not one single person at Barberstown made us feel that way. You all treated us with so much kindness, care and the attention to detail was absolutely exceptional. When planning the wedding, we had many a phone call, meeting, email exchange with Danielle and not once was it an issue. Even when we started to become a bit more frantic towards the end! Every interaction was patient, met with a smile and we always left feeling uplifted. Danielle, you were absolutely amazing and we will never forget your help and your warmth! We were unprepared for the level of professionalism and coordination on the day. Every single thing ran smoothly from Barberstown. Our guests adored their rooms and Heather (helpfully and carefully planned by Sarah!), everything additional we had brought - such as a gigantic welcome mirror and individual menus, name cards and table numbers, were perfectly set up by Danielle and the team. The food and the service was phenomenal. Our guests have said it was the best wedding they have ever been to and every single one commented on the food and the staff. Evan and I were blown away by how attentive the staff were throughout the day and the day 2. Conor would regularly appear out of nowhere with exactly what we were looking for, often accompanied by Adam who seemed to also be everywhere at once. The entire weekend ran so smoothly and we know how hard Conor and the staff worked for that to happen. All of our decor (including 150+ bud vases) was carefully minded and waiting for us on Monday morning. Danielle was the first person we met when we viewed Barberstown Castle for our wedding, and it is safe to say she made an incredible first impression. She has such a warm, calm and positive energy that we knew were in the best hands. Danielle, Emma and Conor are the ultimate dream team. Emma, one of the wedding managers, is absolutely lovely and such a professional that you immediately know everything is under control. When we arrived on our wedding day, they were waiting for us with a red carpet rolled out and Prosecco in hand. Their message to us was simple: “Enjoy yourselves.” And boy, did we! Conor was our right-hand man from the moment we arrived. His dedication to making sure we had the best possible experience was incredible, and he went above and beyond throughout the entire day. We also have to thank every single member of staff who worked that night. We'd specifically like to shout out Danielle and Conor who were our point people for the day, and took absolutely phenomenal care of both us and our guests! From the moment I laid eyes on Barberstown Castle I knew id get married there one day but wow was I blown away. From the moment I met Danielle to every other staff member in between Sarah, Emma, Conor, Adam to name a few you really should be so proud and blessed to know your staff are and will remain the most lovely kind caring people ever who went above and beyond for us at every meeting every message email phonecall planning stages throughout the lead up tp.our day. And then the big day came and without your staff we couldn't of had a smoother running of the day. I want in particular to mention Conor on the day he was exceptional.in everything my guests who even had to sogn liability forms 🤣 mentioned how lovely he was to deal with nothing to big or too small and even making my little boy Rian so happy to play an extra little song as a surprise for his mam and dad will forever be a special memory for us so Thanl Conor kindly for us!
