This venue features lush outdoor spaces and contemporary banquet salons to turn your big day into a stylish celebration. The onsite team will work closely with you during your planning process to ensure each element, from your menu to your seating arrangements, matches your vision.
With multiple versatile event spaces, Algonquin College can host events with guest lists ranging from 75 to 800 attendees. One of their largest settings is the group of Banquet Salons, which can be easily divided or combined to give couples all the floor space they need. The open-floor concept and neutral colour scheme will allow you to create any nuptial theme you want. Soon-to-be-weds that prefer a modern, industrial-chic setting will be welcome to use the Minto Hall. Its high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and organic bio-wall are sure to give your big day a bright, naturally stunning atmosphere. For an outdoor celebration, The Horticulture Gardens feature flourishing gardens, ponds, and waterfalls, making for an ideal backdrop for your ceremony or reception. Lastly, their indigenous event space called Nawapon and its attached outdoor courtyard make for a beautiful and unique space in the heart of the College. Offering the opportunity to have a ceremony and reception all in one location, including an outdoor campfire surrounded by indigenous gardens.
A team of event planners will work closely with you to help you organize your dream day. They will connect you with Chartwells’ in-house Executive Chef, who will customize a menu to best suit your unique palate.. Chairs, tables, linens, dinnerware, and other items will be provided and arranged into any formation you prefer. Algonquin College also has a print shop available onsite, which you can use to create your menu cards, custom table numbers, seating charts and other day-of paper goods.
