Alto is a unique multi purpose function venue located on the top floor of Melbourne's iconic GPO Building. Sweeping city views, 30 foot high ceilings and a raw industrial finish gives this event space a unique edge for product launches, corporate events and cocktail parties for up to 250 guests. Furnished with a stunning six metre mirrored bar and three giant chandeliers combined with contemporary furniture Alto offers the 'wow' factor. A popular feature is their enormous outdoor terrace that can accommodate up to 150 guests. Amazing Wedding Venue: Alto August 2022

We had our wedding at Alto in August 2022. Vicki, Caroline and the Damm Fine Food team were such a joy to work with in the leadup to our wedding and on the day. They made the process easy and stress-free, and the day went off without a hitch. The space looked absolutely incredible - it was everything we hoped it would be. Alto Venue: Excellent Service, Stunning Setting!

We had our Wedding reception at Alto and it was excellent! Chloe was so helpful, responsive and lovely in the lead up to the event and made everything so easy and seamless. We knew we could trust her and the team completely and we weren’t disappointed. The service on the day was excellent and the staff were so lovely and attentive. Everything ran seamlessly. On top of it all, the venue is absolutely beautiful. All our guests raved about it. Would highly recommend for your next event!!

Alto: A Dream Wedding Venue!

When my husband Alex and I first laid eyes on Alto we had that feeling...This was the space we wanted to throw our wedding reception at! Given the challenging year we had, both Tevany and James were extremely accommodating and helpful during this stressful period. We made multiple changes to our dates when lockdown happened and Alto/Damm Fine Foods always did their best to work with us. We were lucky to celebrate with some family and friends last Thursday night.

ALTO: Perfect Wedding Venue in CBD

As soon as we stepped into ALTO for the first time, we knew it would be perfect for our wedding. The Melbourne CBD backdrop creates such an awesome atmosphere, and this is complemented by the intimate, modern and classy nature of this venue. Words cannot describe how amazing the ALTO staff were, both leading up to the wedding, and also on the day. Planning a wedding throughout a global pandemic is not an easy task, and yet the ALTO staff were absolutely incredible throughout the whole process.
